To be fair this game was being developed before Halo 3 released, so it's not as "me too" as one may think. Zero Point revealed their first trailer in May of 2006.

anyone notice that in alot of games/movies usa is always the target or attacker when it comes to alien things. why cant we have hockey stick alien beatdowns on halo 6 j/k

i didnt know they wasnt being funded, defiantly will support them. please this isnt just for PC, i need this game on PS3 or NGP

man this game has been in development for so long! I remember first seeing it as a PS3 tech demo at E3 '05

Yeah...and that really worries me. Being independent, not funded at all, and going on 5+ years development doesn't sound terribly good for these guys. While the video showed off some nice graphics / effects....compared to todays "funded" shooters I really worry that this game can hold up.

They need to come out in the next year or so otherwise this game will surely tank as its gonna feel very old.

The game itself looks stupid... I cant support a stupid product. I mean cmon.. walking sharks?... right.... How unimagintive can u be. Not to mention that its another first person shooter.. like we need more. No real creativity there.

Besides, they are fucking awesome.
Oh, the classic "We don't need anymore first person shooters.....". Well i don't think there is anything called 2nd person shooter so of course it's gonna be first person you moron. (And no, it can't be made into a third person shooter)
Stop playing your good damn COD and support this awesome game.
It's gonna be so freaking realistic, because these guys care about the fell of the game.
Oh and sadly(sarcasm) people who have donated will see all of that awesome content before you guys.

really... wow your ignorant. So your saying walking sharks are realistic... lol... And 1st person and third person arent the only camera angles in any game ever. U can get creative with camera angels...i mean there are a lot of games that make it look sick... hitman , resident evil(originals), silent hill. Then there are your devil may cry type games... then there are your adventure mario kinda games... side scrollers... games where the camera actually moves based on what your character... like gears of war when u start sprinting..

See to just make everything a first person shooter is just dumb.. and to say what else is there like your saying is even more dumb.

And no i wont support a game that i think will suck. It doesnt interest me. It looks CORNY! I dont care who developed it. What they are indie so I should somehow care more? This is an indie team without any creativity or innovation. I cannot support no innovation and no deviating from the norm. If they decided to truely run wild with something that is different, then yea id give a try.

Zero Point is going to have to make this game really stand out to distinguish itself from all the other shooters and sci-fi games. I always give games a chance, so while this isn't bright on my radar, I will check up on it now and then.

Also, am I the only who's getting a distinct Star Wars vibe from this video?
