Nice article.

I wonder when Xenogears is coming out.

Lucreto5627d ago

More than likely never as it was never originally released in Europe. The process would take even longer than mentioned in the article.

download from the us store problem solved

Didn't they say that Xenogears and what Vagrant story is coming out soon. Has to be past most of this process for them to mention it.

Undeadwolfy5627d ago

Glad I know what the process is now. Thanks Sony. :)

"Oh, and we’re re-releasing Crash Bandicoot 2 on Wednesday. Yay!"

Finaly! My favorite of the series!

Sad that Europe lost Silent Hill due to probably some obscure licensing issue. It was a true PS1 classic. They should get that license.

You'd think all that would be obvious but some people refuse to see or believe the obstacles.

This reinforces the obsolescence of region-locks and regional licensing in the 21st century. Though in most media, it's not likely to end any time soon.

At the very least, we should support anyone who opts for region-free media.

Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.

They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

solideagle60d ago

they should know that we are OG fans of VIII as it sold truckload as well. not as much as VII or X. I personally didn't like IX but X and VI are my personal fav.

Shadow Hearts 2 covenant is another game I love. I hope one day someone can make remake, I would be delighted

Final Fantasy VIII is great and you are always the first to defend it in the comments

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
