EU PSBlog: Hello everyone. Today I’m here to talk to you a little bit about PSone Classics – what it takes to get a PSone game from disc to the Store, the problems we face in doing so and what we’re doing to get more games to you guys.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

LucasArts gave Jango Fett his own game in 2002, and it pulled Star Wars into a much dirtier, rougher, and more interesting corner of the galaxy.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.

Sad that Europe lost Silent Hill due to probably some obscure licensing issue. It was a true PS1 classic. They should get that license.
You'd think all that would be obvious but some people refuse to see or believe the obstacles.
This reinforces the obsolescence of region-locks and regional licensing in the 21st century. Though in most media, it's not likely to end any time soon.
At the very least, we should support anyone who opts for region-free media.
