Developed by many of the team behind the original Shogun, it's clear that Total War: Shogun 2 is a bit more than a cinematic and graphically enhanced version of its predecessor. Destructoid was initially impressed with the polished field play, but the crisp aesthetics of the game's map page won them over -- it had an airy, clear look, mixed with a traditional, austere monochrome style of ink painting.
