Examiner.com - Most anticipated games for 2011

With the recent releases of E3 show stealer Dead Space 2 and Sony's cute and cuddly mindblower LittleBigPlanet 2, it seems fitting to talk about the upcoming gobs of anticipation surrounding 2011's string of heavyweight releases. Whether it be sequels of the tired and true or new and fascinating IPs, 2011 boasts one of the strongest lineups of games this generation of consoles has seen. Even the San Francisco Chronicle joined in on the fun, recently rattling off a list of this winter and spring's most salivation worthy releases. The following list counts down this writer's own personal list of anticipation, featuring a full 20 games I can't wait to find time for.

If you're gonna troll, at least make a legitimate attempt.

Hot damn that's a good list. The only one i never played is AOE2 and i never finshed Chrono Trigger but it was damn good.

Speaking of what's old but holds up amazingly well and plays like a dream.. i played Symphony of the Night for the first time in 2019.. yep that's right. It became one of my favourite games of all time that i replay almost every year. I couldn't believe how good it was. That is almost impossible for me with newer games let alone older ones. Truly a special gem.

That's a pretty fucking great list

The only one I’d disagree with is doom. It shows its age badly I think. After 5 minutes of play these days you put it down.

Please release the ICO games on PC...

Inverno475d ago

I would love the remasters and Last Guardian on PC. Insta buy if I could get em on GOG. Just knowing I would have access to these games without them being tied to an aging console I'd buy em up again in a heartbeat.

Profchaos475d ago

At this point I don't think they are coming pcsx2 or rpcs3 is your only hope

SimpleDad475d ago

Thank You Shu... please ICO on modern platforms, please!

This game made a huge impact on me, the friendship beetween the boy and Trico reminded me of my old stubborn dog that was my friend when I was a kid.

The first game that ever made me cry, I love it
