It's possible technically to look as good. But battery life and heat issues are too prominent to make a device to do it I think...

If this turns out to be the graphical powerhouse its rumored to be then I'll be getting it as soon as I get the chance. I hate how everything now is about new controls instead of graphics. I'm perfectly fine with a controller with sticks and buttons.

Yes it can, but the battery will stop it, yet honestly 5 hours of charge would be the sweet spot forcmy needs

Battery life and heat would be an issue if it was.

I think it's possible that we could get some 720p gaming on the go. I doubt we'll see the kind of model detail and population we see in top tier PS3 games.

I definitely think things along the lines of God of War Collection will be possible, not necessarily God of War III.

We could see Uncharted, not necessarily Uncharted 2.

I'm more curious about network capabilities. I would love to see Warhawk on the go.

If Sony didn't have the PS3 I would think they would go all out on the handheld but if they do now they would have some trouble since they would be competing against themselves. Why? Because Japan loves handhelds and at least in there land they would have some problems.

I love the PSP2 is the industries worst kept secret.

All we got is rumors and possible fake pics.

Well maybe it is, but I thought the PSP Go mess up with Qore was worse.

since PSP 2 is a portable gaming device PSP 2 won't need to push out nearly as much polygons & pixels on screen to make the games sing on PSP 2.So it's highly doubtful PSP 2 will completely match the PS3's technical prowess but powerful enough to give game studios room to freely create excellent games for the PSP 2.

I really just hope Sony doesn't go any higher than $249. Its obv not an attractive price point (people are even turning on Nintendo!) but at least its the same as the competition. I just don't see how they can justify having a handheld cost anywhere near as much as their flagship console. I realize the PS3 is gonna be five years old, and in some ways, outdated compared to the new PSP, but jeez, what a PR nightmare to have the PSP2 cost anywhere near the PS3's MSRP.

Hey Sony, you want to make a splash in a few days? Bite the bullet and announce a fully loaded PSP2 at the nifty price of $199 and a nice little price cut for the PS3 at $249. Judging from the holiday says, $299 is still too steep a lot of people.

This is the first major litmus test for the "new" Sony since they were humbled with the PS3 launch and its benefited gamers up until this point. Will they do us gamers right with the PSP2 launch? I hope so.

It is extremely unlikely that the PSP2 will be more powerful than the PS3, but it is very possible for it to have as much or more RAM.

I care more about what it's battery life is going to be..

If the PSP2 is as powerful as Ps3, then it is a given that Sony will announce the PS4 at E3. The reason? Simple, if a handheld gives the same performance as the home console, it makes the home console look bad in comparison.

Would love the thought of playing GOW3 on the go. But this reminds me when they said that the PSP would be as powerful as the PS2 when in reality its slightly less. I think that the same will happen here that the PSP2 will be sligthly less powerful than the PS3
