Homefront may be about an occupied and conquered United States of America, but the creative director of the game thinks that its themes and values are universal...

Jack writes: "Back in March 2011, the first-person action shooter Homefront arrived on the Xbox 360 from THQ, along with a storm of publicity which included a really cool live-action trailer"

Last week game dev Steve Thornton took to Twitter to ask: fellow devs, have you ever slipped something into a game you're working on that's just for you? The replies are well worth a read.

Deep Silver and Humble Bundle are currently offering the first Homefront game for free. This offer will last for the next 48 hours, so be sure to visit its Humble Bundle page in order to acquire your free copy.
get it! the single player is excellent and intense and the MP is pretty fun, too.
Ehh, PS4 needs these deals too, or consoles in general we always get discounts rarely free stuff that's REALLY free (games with gold / psplus isn't free)
Is that a White Castle burger place in the background of the picture?
I hope we get to meet Harold and Kumar :)
Anyways, almost all fps games are about Americans. I think if people from other countries can enjoy playing those, then they can enjoy playing Homefront.
I wonder when they will make a FPS not entirely about Americans?
Do we get to play as the Koreans then? Burn!
Well if your not close minded you should enjoy it. Im Northern Irish and il probably like it :)
Who cares what nationality you play as?. This game reminds me of Haze. The devs went all drama queen over the story and it turned out to be one of the worst games in existence. Just give us a decent shooter that we can judge by gameplay and give the bullshit story a rest.
...
Wasn't Modern Warfare 2 primarily about invaded US soil?
Just sounds like hype-mongering.
