In THQ's upcoming FPS, Homefront, gamers are immersed in the "what if" scenario of North Korea's invasion of... everything. An Orwellian big brother watches over all, and an army equipped with ominous tanks and helicopters threatens any dissenters. This latest batch of Homefront screenshots is loaded with armored enemy war machines, evoking a sense of dread that makes the game stand out from the FPS competition.

Jack writes: "Back in March 2011, the first-person action shooter Homefront arrived on the Xbox 360 from THQ, along with a storm of publicity which included a really cool live-action trailer"

Last week game dev Steve Thornton took to Twitter to ask: fellow devs, have you ever slipped something into a game you're working on that's just for you? The replies are well worth a read.

Deep Silver and Humble Bundle are currently offering the first Homefront game for free. This offer will last for the next 48 hours, so be sure to visit its Humble Bundle page in order to acquire your free copy.
get it! the single player is excellent and intense and the MP is pretty fun, too.
Ehh, PS4 needs these deals too, or consoles in general we always get discounts rarely free stuff that's REALLY free (games with gold / psplus isn't free)
How the hell does this count as a "preview" ffs.
From some of the vids I've seen and I might be wrong here but, it. Appears there is no destruction in the MP at all. So you have tanks, helis, rpgs, etc but what good are they if you can't blast a whole in a building where there are a bunch of guys camping out ? If they're gonna have all theses vehicles but all the surroundings are bullet and RPG proof then this game has already failed in my opinion. Sounds like COD with vehicles. Not impressed. Especially with the BF3 beta hiting this spring.
