didn't they find that the performance on the PS3 was improved, but the 360 had better visuals?

I'm pretty sure it was Lens of Truth that found that the PS3 version was worse in all departments (we also know how much of a fanboy website it is, though).

They found that the demo was better on 360, they havent done a comaprison for retail code, but digital foundry did and found that visuals and performance were greatly improved from demo, but 360 ever so slightly edged it in performance. Visuals I think they pretty much said is up to you, as the only thing really different is the lighting.

KaiokenKid... sorry to tell you there is a retail comparision, and again the 360 version has a slight edge, the lightning was tweaked in the ps3 version giving it a weird look while a few textures are worse...

at least the comic is an easy ME1 save generator

but you can buy the retail and all dlc's at a lower price than getting the ps3 version which doesn't include all the dlc...

I got the PS3 version for £23.85 so I think I defo got my moneys worth :)

I'd really like if I asked the same question a dozen times, to a dozen different people, that eventually they'd give me an answer I could actually use. I'd really like for the characters eyes to not look like they're in the middle of an epileptic seizure while i'm talking to them. I'd really like to not have find 3 people and have a long converstion with each person, just to find one person. I really like the controls not to feel like I'm controlling a rhynocerus in the middle of a firefight, I'd really like a cover system, that works, simply, so I don't have to press X twice and vault over cover for no reason, out into the open, to get sprayed on by a mech and four soldiers. I like to run and(get this) turn at the same time wow, that would be a great feature for this game. "Linear" Do you really think I care about getting a drink at the bar, at a club which might as well have no people there, because they look like robots. It makes no sense to have a long converstion, in the middle of a battle, or stand around talkins while the ship is under attack, It's unenchanting how little polish and attention to detail this game has. Tell me where I'm wrong???

I will agree with a bar stuff. There are some things in the game like that, that feel like an unfinished idea. Like they meant to put something more in but simply didn't. I don't know if they just didn't realize it or they meant it to be that way, or they just didn't have time to finish it. Then again, most places you drink at in the game, if you keep doing it, something eventually happens. But almost every Bioware game has half finished ideas in it, or things that make you wonder, "really? this is how you intended it to look when it's finished?" but I guess sometimes they just didn't want to add more for the sake of adding more. Lately they've been going at their games in a much more "streamlined" approach, which ultimately means "less content". If things are unnecessary, they don't usually put them in, even if some people would enjoy them.

As for the controls, I really don't think they are bad, or different from any other "shooter". You can't turn in Gears of War while sprinting, and you need to press the same button twice while taking cover, then vaulting over the cover. Pretty sure that's standard in most games. Keep in mind this is not a "shooter" it's an RPG, so the controls are not going to be as tight, period. It just happens to take place in the future, and they happen to use guns. Just like an RPG isn't going to have as fluid of combat as something like God of War. It's just not going to happen. Overall, I think they did quite a good job with the controls. I can't speak for console much but on PC it controls just like any other shooter with the mouse and keyboard, but being able to aim your skills around corners and such makes the combat very flexible.

It could be that you just don't like the game, I don't know. I suppose it's not for everyone, but so many of your complaints are such a minor aspect of the overall experience most people wouldn't even notice them or take them into consideration when deciding how good they think the game is. Characters' eyes, for example. So what. That is the last thing that came to my mind when I played that game. What does it for me is the amount of depth they've come up with in creating an entire universe filled with a dozen different species, all with unique personalities and cultures. Go read some of the planet descriptions or codex entries and you'll see how much work actually went into this game. There's a lot of unique locations to explore and intricate storylines to follow. It makes it very easy to overlook some of the silly complaints you are having when you are immersed in the overall game and universe.

ME is an RPG, i think you were expecting TPS games. I do get what you mean about talking during the missions, but this game is heavily about talking and making choices, and that is how you develop your characters or choosing a different outcome. How else would you do it if you don't talk. Although a better ideas would be that the person could ran along talking while the action still going, but that could be.....distracting and you probably won't pay attention to the information at hands.

Just think of it as ME running on RPG time, not TPS times.
