They say stuff like this everytime something new gets released.

PS3, Xbox360, DS, Wii, 3DS etc, all seem to have endless possibilities

VictimOfHypocrisy5639d ago (Edited 5639d ago )

Agreed.
The only thing that is endless in marketing is PR departments not running out of senseless things to say to drive the hype train. No technology is endless and never will be. Bigger and better is on it's way before new technology even hits retail.

What is actually endless is most consumers.... STRIKE THAT! "Most educated consumers" that have grown completely bored with lame ass PR departments over hyping a product before it even hits retail shelves.

Doesn't this scrub realize that a Nintendo handheld doesn't need hype. It will sell millions. More people like handhelds than those that do home consoles. I'm not one of them but I'm not ignorant to not know and admit the reality of it.

I just hope hardcore gaming on consoles don't go anywhere any time soon but I am starting to wonder with all these motion controls and not smart phones games if us hardcore gamers are not in trouble. I don't want to become extinct and I certainly wont conform.

How bout HD graphics? Or even a psn like service? If so I would be all over this thing, if not, I guess im gonna have to wait for the psp2. That is if Sony does it justice.

fatstarr5639d ago

Have you not see it in action o.o.

Mostly all portable devices now adays have high resolution screens because they are so small.

the 3DS has hd graphics imo or they look nice and crisp.

nickjkl5639d ago

no its not hd is classified as a resolution above 480i

the 3ds has screen resolutions of

400×240 and 320×240

fatstarr5639d ago (Edited 5639d ago )

854 x 480= the 3DS resolution.
It might not be classified as hd but you can pull off impressive visuals and a great picture.

also look at this http://www.youtube.com/watc...

looks pretty good.

jaosobno5639d ago

Low res screen that causes eye damage and abysmally weak specs fail to agree with you Yves.

Burning_Finger5639d ago (Edited 5639d ago )

A low spec handheld doesn't do much justice in this day and age. Most of today mobile devices had better tech spec than 3DS. I failed to see that endless possibilities.

This mainly PR BS talk.

I can't sit here and act like I know these workers financial situations. And I'm sure nobody wakes up WANTING to go to court. But for the sake of the industry, I wish some of these types of cases made it to trial.

Settlements allow companies to continue to do whatever abusive practices they do. While the trials (should the company lose) would actually force real changes for the better.

But again, I'm not in these workers shoes and I can understand them not wanting to risk it.
