Why We Need Another Half-Life

Is it too much to ask for something a little more engaging then running through a virtual war-torn environment and slaughtering everything that moves? What could possibly fill the void for those of us who want more than the next Call Of Duty: Generic FPS Edition? Half-Life 3 could fill that void.

I'd even settle for them to release Episode 3 already! Can barely contain my excitement!

They probably bring HL3 or Ep3 out when Activision really start to milk Call of Duty and it flops... which wont be long now :)

Call of Duty: 2142 FTW

Interesting thought, I had never even considered that possibility.

I'm actually really surprised Portal 2 is coming out so soon after the first one; Valve tend to really make fans wait it out between sequels, I was sure we would see HL2 Episode 3 before we saw Portal 2.

Perhaps they are scrapping Episode 2 and just making a stand alone Half-Life 3? Or perhaps Episode 3 will come out just a few months before Half-Life 3 to REALLY build up media attention.

ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN!

At least with Half-Life the hype is warranted!
