He's right, but right now there are 8m shipped Kinect units and 5-5.5m (4.1 at the end of November) Move untis, similar ratio with PSP2 wouldn't be bad for Sony :)

When they say Kinect outsold the move do they mean the move starter bundle, the move controller, the camera or all three individual peripherals together? And whether the 3DS or PSP2 sells more than the other or not, my money is going towards the one with the best games available.

I mean the 3DS to me from where i stand is just an update of the DS with 3D graphics. Nothing special if we really think about it.

In essence the ps3 is now able to display games in 3D and does that make it different enough for me to say it will be a reason why it will or should outperform the other 2 systems?

Psp 2 its said to feature 2 sticks, a touchpad on the back and god knows what else will it end up featuring.

With the power the psp2 is said to have, it wouldnt surprise me if it ended up having a better psn intregration.

You know trophies, netflix the works and that in itself its also an experience that cant be denied nor ignore.

Nintendo is the king of handhelds,and yeah we get all that. But thinking about it really. No one has really challenge them, and what I mean by that is challenge them the right way to boot.

First off psp when it first arrived to the scene sold like crack on the streets. What many are forgetting is, the psp wasnt getting the proper attention it deserved by sony themselves and unlike bluray it wasnt something sony put too much effort in trying to establish.

Had sony said ok, lets release this device with this many games on date and date with the competiton while matching their their price structure. This alone would have challenged nintendo directly and with the hype it had riding behind it at the time, change the perception many seem to have for the device today.

Its simple really, when you come to think about it.

The DS is a great device with great content, content of which more or less like the psps content were consisted of ports or rehashes.

The key differences are a few original fun ips

The price difference of each unit.

Development costs

Release date of both units

Ofcourse content

You nail these issues and add a monster hunter as your main killer app for launch, followed by a slew of good games while price matching the 3DS and you will have a legitimate chance to stunt its grow right from the biginning.

Heres a fact the psp is right now one of the best selling platforms out in japan. Why? They love handheld gaming out there and psp is getting a lot of support out there when compared elsewhere.

My theory in all this is, if sony were to play their cards right they would sacrafice a few dollars to challenge nintendo right out the bat with a matching price point.

Pay 3rd party devs for exclusive content and marketing, and push it like they did bluray.

This will have an effect thats all I am saying here.

if Sony effs up yes, 3DS will outsell it. However you have Sony, a company that did not beat Nintendo with PSP and that started PS3 on the low but brought it back actually same with PSP (sales are good).

Sony is a company that has learned it's lesson and knows what it did wrong...and right. What does this mean? well we dont know anything about the psp2 besides it had a heating issue that sony got pissed off at and wanted fixed (good sign). it has half the processing power of the ps3 but can render equivalent games due to the smaller screen size (the ps3 is energy efficient now half that power so battery life should be good especially in battery research these days). 2 joysticks.

is this enough to say PSP 2 loses? Frankly? no. i dont understand how any good analyst would make this call already considering 1 product is unannounced and has not been shown except in shadowy rooms with top secret all over it. This call is baseless besides fanboy predictions. Sony was the console King, now it's the underdog that's slowly killing the competition. Nintendo quite frankly has lost it's touch and i do not see any ground breaking products from them. the 3ds is already questionable since it's issuing warnings to avoid lawsuits about it's 3d.

It's anybodies game right now, Nintendo SHOULD win but will it? who knows time will tell. Sony is going to be aggressive in price (this was ps3, psp, and psp go's problem), software support, casual support, and it has the PSN's market to use on the PSP 2 whcih is actually VERY powerful tool to use in the masses. Remember when it comes to games - Nintendo always has the same big titles nothing new whereas Sony never relies on anyone 1 franchise, title, or series it makes new ones will utilizing current ones. the point though is that it makes new ones!! what does that mean? something new is always popping up.

And the PSP2 will outsell Xbox Portable. Now give me a job. I can speak out of my ass as well. Seriously why is this shit still being approved. In other News PS3 is still outselling the yet to be announced PS4. PS4 is a failure and should be scraped before launch.

I think the PSP 2 will get closer, but ultimately lose to the 3DS. The PSP brand needs another generation before it could make nintendo really sweat. This is not saying anything bad about the product, it's just that generations of people think Nintendo when it comes to portables. The PSP needs to continue building its fanbase. It's going to take time though before Sony can make a serious run at the handheld throne.

Sony will have a hard time with nintendo's 3DS, they have to make it, price wise, in the same ball park as the 3DS, however, the PSPs have launched at higher prices.

That definitely would have been the absolute worst time for stick drift to happen...

I always wanted a true to life surgery simulator for PSVR1. I always knew those Move controllers were precise AF under the proper conditions.

Move was a very accurate device under good conditions. Dr Marks even wanted to open it up for hobbyists and developers to extract more data to do more things. I even seen him use it for space, astronaut like simulations.

Sony always had the tech. They just needed the software to go with it. PS Move limit was not having an analog stick. Which it seems the PS5 controller made up for that.

I would like to see them use PS VR 2 for surgery or something with that eye tracking built in.
