Sony fans are saying US, not the world bla bla bla. Truth is, NA is the most important region period. 2nd, we all know 360 dont sell in japan but japan is nothing but a spec of dust in the gaming world. This is not Gensisis nor SNES days nor ps1 or ps2.

Ps fans, please dont make it sound like 360 doesnt sell in EU. If i had to guess, it would be 60% ps3 and 40%. 360 is selling in EU as same as ps3 is selling well in NA, but the % is much higher for 360.

360 has dominated NA and ps3 will never catch up same as 360 will never see lgiht of day in japan.

360 fans can play sales game all they want, good for them but that doestn change the fact that they left out some core games this year... but MS is making tons of money in return, can strike back full force in 2012. If no core games are coming out in 2012, then there focus is on the casuals and i dont see this happening. They wont leave out there core gamers, if they do, they lost everything they build up for up to this point.

BOth are doing great, accept it. ps3 will never pass 360 this generation and even if it does, 360 has make a name for isself just like playstation brand. Here in NA, its all about 360.

Not choosing sides here in any way. But why would they even league the move and kinect together? I mean, "Rivals" they call them. Sure it's xbox and ps3 so they have to hate each other in most minds, but they are really completely different devices. I mean for xbox it seems like everything is kinect to them now, their dashboard, their ads, etc. But on ps3 move is just a cool controller they made, nothing more. Of course xbox will sell more, it's all they can talk about and advertise now tbh.

I would hope that they would outsell the Move based on the fact that MS invested 500 million in advertising compared to the Moves' marketing budget which appears to have consisted of whatever Kaz and Jack had in their pockets at the moment. How much does a coupon to SuperCuts, some lint, a paper clip, a few singles, a couple of yen, an autographed Kevin Butler wallet sized picture and a pen get you in the advertising world?

Well this isn't really a surprise to be honest. Kinect seems like more the innovation. With several of the Kinect titles already going platinum as well I can see Kinect lasting a long, long time.
Move just wasn't for me, in all honesty I just cant get next to using a motion controller in a competitive game like Killzone 3 or anything, not when others would be using standard controllers.

Note the "shipped". 5-to-1 is the hardware bundle ratio in the US, not the hardware ratio. Remember, a significant number of Move users *don't need a camera, because they own one already*.

Sony had shipped over 4M Moves at the end of November. MS announced they shipped 8M Kinects by the end of December. That's looking like 2-to-1, to me, and that's only if Sony didn't ship any Moves in December, which seems... unlikely.

The software totals are equally suspect, since they compare "top 2", discounting the fact that the Move titles sold fairly well across the board, and Kinect had its bundled software, and Dance Central... and that's about it. Also, many Move users already owned Move software, in the form of MAG, Heavy Rain, etc.

This is a troll site, folks. Don't give it hits, unless you're a 360 fan who needs to feel good via some cherry-picking, and rose-tinting on your glasses.

Microsoft is better at generating media buzz than Sony. Of course Kinect sold more. Not to mention, Move is simply Wii-mote 2.0, while Kinect is the first of its kind. For my own personal gaming use, I'd rather have move though. That is, if I was interested in motion gaming. I'm more than happy with the good old-fashioned controller.
