A new patch for Ship Simulator Extremes has been released by developer VSTEP and publisher Paradox Interactive. The update not only improves performance and gameplay but also adds a host of new features auch as a large number of bug fixes along and a brand new mission editor tool.
Paradox Interactive and developer VSTEP announced today that the next DLC offering for their hard core nautical ship simulation game Ship Simulator Extremes, the Ship Simulator Extremes: Customs Vessels DLC, will be absolutely FREE.
Ship Simulator Extremes presents a challenging and realistic sim-based captaining experience, with the Customs Vessels DLC expanding the role-playing and sim challenge modes by putting the player in the role of an ICE/Customs Officer who must inspect ships as they enter the duty zones of the port.

"Simulation games are always going to be a mixed bag. When you’re going to make a game based around trying to get as close as humanly possible to the real thing, you’re going to run into some issues. Flight simulators are a prime example. Just about everyone I knew growing up wanted to be a pilot at one time or another.
