Come on guys let's be fair this looks better then the DS version is almost on par with the Wii version except it's more blocky, but again it's a handheld.

I have to agree with you.

If any company is stealing consumers money that is NINTENDO. Come on are people blind? I have the Wii and I loved Nintendo. In fact there are some really good games on the wii and last year was the year of the Wii in terms of quality exclusives but, how the hell they think Im going to pay $30 for the same Mario All Stars but on the Wii with a different package. How the hell they are bringing Ocarina of Time ( a classic for sure) to the 3DS without even trying to improve the graphics...just 3D. We will continue to see hundreads of rehashed games from NINTY and everybody will still defend them. People seems to buy everything and nobody knows better than NINTENDO.

If it's Mario Kart DS with upped visuals then I'm okay.

Mario Kart has had the sort of the same formula since N64 (not counting SNES).

Damn Nintendo likes to keep giving us the exact same games over and over and over again. Geez. I mean, damn. Mario Kart hasn't evolved visually since the N64 and the gameplay's been the same since the SNES. That's why I like Sony exclusives (and even some MS exclusives improve visually too) because they continue to push the hardware harder with eat iteration of its games. Just look at Uncharted 1 and then U2, and now the screens of Uncharted 3.

Uncharted: 2 games this gen ( going to be three this year)
Resistance: 2 games this gen ( going to be three this year)
Ratchet and Clank: 2 games this gen ( going to be three/ not including handheld games)
Killzone: (going to be 2 games this gen.... 3 in 7 years.)
Motorstorm: 2 games this gen( going to be three this year not including handheld games)

To make myself clear, i am not dismissing your statement about Nintendo and the lack of new ips and releasing a lot of their games from already existing franchises... i completely agree with that ..... while Sony has done very well in creating successful new ips ... i mean thats a bit much for those franchises this gen. And i would get into COD, Final Fantasy and God of War.... but theres no point in that.

slightly off-topic, but please, when is someone going to get their fingers out and remake crash team racing???

easily one of the best games on the ps1, and a game that is crying out for a sequel on the HD consoles!

could you just imagine having it with your pals on the psn or xbox-live??? i can, and i'm certain that it would be great

Yeah a PS3 HD remake would be nice. I used to play it all the time on the PS1 and I recently got it for free with PS+ (free or discounted can't remember which).

Lol the amount of Sony fanboys bashing Nintendo makes me lol, its a mario kart game what changes of the franchise you think will happen its a kart racing game what were you people expecting in this game, Mario riding a horse?

Most of the Mario spinoffs are not even made by Nintendo first of all, also Mario games have probably innovated more than the entire sony franchises in video game, im not a Nintendo fanboy i own both Sony and Nintendo consoles but I find this bashing ignorant people WANT Zelda games and WANT Mario games, Donkey Kong etc. Look at the amount of sequels coming out on PS3, 3 Uncharted Main Series Games, 2 Killzone games, 3 Resistance Games and god knows how many ratchet and clank games, and what innovation have you seen in a game like Uncharted 2, theres really none its just improvements from the past games and added modes like online multiplayer like thats ever done before in a game if they made huge changes to the game it wouldn't be the Uncharted game we all love anymore the Identity is gone, for example Zelda games play like past Zelda games because thats the Identity of the series, look at the new DMC the "identity" of that series has gone and look how any bitch about that game. Its stupid seeing people who act like they play these games and bash em.

The fact that the video shows only 2 players racing without the hud, makes it seem kinda boring. I really hope the actual game's environment is detailed like the Wii version. Man this is gonna be awesome when it hits though, hopefully not too far off from the 3DS's launch.

it's the EXACT same "concept" trailer from E3...anyone judging a game based on it without any way to see the 3D effects is selling it short. When does a Mario Kart have only two characters..seriously.

i'm sure i'll get disagreed, but why are people not sick of Halo or CoD? CoD gets 3 to 5 games a year, but Mario gets about 1 title for each console he's on, and all of the sudden he is being overused.

regardless, that looks like what they have at E3. they need an actually demo. maybe 8 characters to play as and 5 tracks.

I just copied the list from the wiki. There are a f*ckload of mario games out there was the point I was trying to get across. More than 200 actually (not just counting appearences, I mean fully fledged Mario games) I agree smash bros brawl doesn't count as a "mario game" but I'm sick of seeing the little Italian tw*t. Nintendo needs some original content.

that is a mix of mario games with different ways to play. heck, even a few are yoshi games.

Super Princess Peach, i like the way you played as mario in that game.

and i can't forgot how we played as Mario in Duck Hunt either

are you going to count Punch-out too, because mario was the ref?

plus a few are just remakes too.

most of the time, Mario gets 1 Main game on each console. To clarify, 1 mario platformer. only the earlier days he got about 3, and that would be NES and GB. the rest was down to one.

the wii having 3 mario games, NSMBW,SMG,SMG2 is abnormal

Nintendo, and every manufacturer for that matter, are gonna have a hard time marketing a 3d device on 2d magazine ads and 2d tv screens and 2d internet page ads.

I'm sure all that 3d stuff looks amazing. but on my non-3d computer monitor all i ever see is yaawwwnnnn.

Oh, and i think the DS buying public that is represented by n4g visitors is about 0.0003%. So I doubt any of you here will be buying the game, or the device, quite frankly.

IT looks pretty good! I may just have to buy me a 3DS later on! But I should point out that it does look better than anything the old DS's could ever do. You can't judge the sounds since it's off a camera, so thats out of the question.
