Stacking was released in 2011 by Double Fine and remains one of their oddest and most intriguing titles. It's a puzzle game masking a serious message, but is it worth picking up today? Jump Dash Roll plays with some dolls before giving its opinion in this week's Brutal Backlog review.

Carlos writes "March may not have provided equal delights when compared to that of February’s backward compatible arrivals, especially with great games such as GTA IV, Borderlands 2 and Hitman: Absolution arriving amongst the masses on Xbox One last month, but that doesn’t mean we’re any less content when new additions come to the program.
Today sees a fresh batch of titles join the fray, but with so many to choose from now, are they worth going back to or should they be left on the shelf forever more?"
Yawn. I don't get it. Xbox doesn't seem to want to open the purse strings to bring in new IPs and with the selection of bc games, you can't tell me developers wouldn't want to get more.money on old IPs. I'm sorry to say, but Xbox feels like they care less and less for the gamer's...
I watched the gameplay on Feedback G4 yesterday with Tim and I am still a little confused. They mentioned you play a russian stacking doll who doesn't have a russian accent. The world is LBP like, in tems where everything has that The Borrowers feel without forcing it. A button door knob looks natural without drawing you eye to the fact your using buttons as door knobs. He says it isn't based on a childs dream of dolls sitting on a bookshelf. It's just a imaginative world.
He also mentioned farting and stacking into other people from the rear to accomplish missions.
I support Tim. Bought Brutal Legend, Costume Quest, Psychonauts, etc. So I think I'll try to check this out. It's odd and different.
ALSO: Tim mentioned than the DoubleFine guys are split up into 4 teams and are creating 4 games at once. Stacking is coming out soon, then the other mystery games will drop one after another. I am happy. I love the content coming from downloadable gaming community. So here's to you Shafmeister!
