Whats sad is the framerate on my iPhone 4 playing angry birds is better than the PS3 version according to this video.

And whats with the Saving... ? Theirs no saving on an iPhone. That could get irritating!

And from the looks of it, it doesn't seem like you can swipe back and forth to the birds and back to the pigs. Near the end of the video it got stuck (bug?) and it didn't seem like he could get back to the birds until it was good and ready. That won't be good if so. Anyone know for sure?

Are their trophies for this version of Angry Birds?

You can swipe back and forth, you press the R1 and L1 buttons to do so. You drag the birds back by using the analog just like using the touch screen. You then press X to do the special stuff etc...

To reply above, the framerate is fine, this video player is just flawed. It saves between levels and thats about the only differnce. To think Iphone has a better framerate or anything beyond a GBA is just sad lol.

I don't have a PSP but if I did, can you buy once and play on either PS3 or PSP, or do you have to buy for each?

Its a Minis, which is meant to be playable on the PSP first and foremost.

Just because the PS3 is alot more powerful does not automatically mean it will have a better FPS and run more stable/efficient etc, you only have to look at most multiplats to see it is the development and coding of the game that makes it run smooth and stable, not the power the specific platform has.

It was developed for iPhone and runs better than that then on PS3, that says this game was a really poor port since the ps3 has much more power to spare!

It's not just made for the iPhone, it's also available on the Android which runs 100% smooth on my EVO 4G.

My point is that this game hardly requires any type of "coding" to even be considered a poor port. It's going to run absolutely fine on the PS3 regardless, the graphics are so lite it's going to run on any damn hardware just fine.

I just hate how "Best" is trolling.

^^ Actually it was originally developed for iPhone, then later "ported" to Android.

As for running perfectly on ps3, as shown by this video it actually doesn't run as well, multiple saving screens between levels and menus and additional loading screens? On a Playstation 3 when not on a Mobile Phone? Please..

I think this is a game best suited for the "on-the-go" fun.. That's why I have it on my iPod Touch 4G & on my PSP soon. :)

But, it's nice that it's on PS3 as well, nothing wrong with that..

Yes. Phones are a bit more streamlined, but overall the same thing. I think levels are slightly differnt on the PS3 version.

However nothing beats getting it for free on Android.

Yep, and just as good as the Iphone version. Though i have to be honest. Though this game is fun and all. Why is it such a popular game? Its, In My Own Personal Opinion, not amazingly special. I have played games just like this one well before angry birds came out or got popular.

Its really easy to get going, its friendly, and its addicting as hell. When you get to the harder levels there is just something about them that makes you want to try "just one more time" and it ends up being an hour or so.

Had my C64 out to show my two boys what we had to go through just to play games in the 80's. I was telling him how Jet Set Willy had to be loaded off cassette and then how it was actually not possible to beat the game because of a bug. I then said that wouldn't happen today and the oldest brought up Bethesda and I shut up.

Also, I'm sure the Quickshot Joysticks in that box are breeding. Why on the planet would I EVER have needed FIVE of the bloody things? Anyway, it didn't go well and they just said they wouldn't have bothered with it all. Philistines-I'm gonna make them wait before I let EITHER of them near my Amiga CD. If only I hadn't melted my Speccy last time I plugged it in-bloody thing.

Anyhow, cassette loads not working after half an hour of cat screeching noise-what wasn't there to hate? Was the lawnmowing game called Hovver bovver or am I going mental? Used to play it loads, though, that and AticAtac and Jetpack. Slow loading days.

I've just begun showing my children Super Mario Bros on my nes 8bit. My 5yo son gets past the 1-1 easily and is learning at an increasing pace. My 7yo daughter doesn't care to play games that much atleast not yet. She has her books and toy horses to spend her time with.
