Player Affinity says: "I like my games how I like my women: Cheap. The current generation of games costs sixty dollars a pop if you buy on launch day, and publishers have all sorts of pre-buy bonuses to justify jumping on early, yet I still rarely buy games when they first come out. It’s much too easy to predict the pricing cycle, and just wait two months for the first online sales to roll around, or wait a year until the “Game of the year edition” is in the bargain bin at Best Buy. The bonuses for buying early don’t outweigh the 40 dollars I can save if I’m patience and frugal."
The gaming industry moves at such a pace that it’s not surprising we’ve seen countless franchises fall into obscurity over the years.
There is a rumour that Driver 1 & 2 remasters will be released for Switch and presumably for other systems as well.

Not sure however whether this results into new games in the near future.
Ninja Gaiden? Splinter Cell? Tenchu? Virtua Fighter? Killer Instinct? Killzone?

Ibrahim from eXputer: "The Medal of Honor franchise was once the crown jewel of FPS war games, later defeated by the tides of time and poor development."
They tried to turn it into Call of Duty and it killed it off. They should reboot it and go back to it's roots. But they'd ruin it with online-only/multiplayer style bullshit so why bother? I have very fond memories of these games, but this series can stay dead as far as I'm concerned.
Was literally just thinking of this game the other week with the secret nut cracker mission and the shooting Bismarck dog lmao. Loved these games as a kid
I have fond memories of playing the Medal of Honor Breakthrough MP Demo. It had two maps and custom servers. Living on campus, I had it downloaded on one of the PC Lab servers so I could access it on any computer at the university. Joined a clan and made friends that I still keep in touch with today.

EA has shut down rumors that EA Motive considered a Dead Space 2 remake before shelving it due to low sales of the previous game, saying there's "no validity" to the reports.
Why not remake DS2 whether shot down or not it's still my favorite game next to DS1. As much as I hate EA I would buy or would have bought DS2 day one.
No validity XD "Guys guys, we cant possible make a good game or cater to the gamers wants, stop"
I don't know if sales met their expectations or not. I just know that the high review scores received my attention so I was interested in buying it, but its price stayed high (50+ bucks) for so long that I simply never bothered picking it up.
"What made Dead Space great was its story of a man trapped alone, unable to trust alone but himself. Having buddies to cover your back nullifies the experience."
Same thing can be said for Resident evil 5. Most of the time if I could hear something and didn't know where it was Sheva found them and shot it dead before he could sneak up on me. Unlike RE4's Zealots who appeared in the castle chanting away as they slowly come towards you from behind.
I agree Spyke. I've never even tried the co-op for RE5.
