Morrowind 2011 graphical overhaul mod complete, download here

We've still got a few months to wait before the next Elder Scrolls game, Skyrim is released, but if you’re getting impatient, a young man named Warwon has come to your rescue. He’s just released the very awesome Morrowind 2011 Graphical Project, a compendium of mods for the game that drag the RPG kicking and screaming into the present.

When the project was initially finished, it was host-less, but now you can download the 1.08GB file directly from GamePron.

This is awesome, only on the open platform ;-)

I never got round to playing Morrowind back in the day so when my PC is fixed I'm going to buy it for £12 off Steam and give it a go with this installed.

Ranshak5616d ago

Its great People can play such old games on PC today and with a remake completely for free.

Further backs my decision to buy more games for PC.

Substance1015616d ago

Yet to play Oblivion which i bought for 8usd on the last Steam discount. Gonna check if there are any mods for that game.

RankFTW5616d ago

@Substance101

There are hundreds of amazing mods for Oblivion but make sure you research them first because a few are incompatible.

MAJ0R5616d ago

WOW that looks almost as good as oblivion with OBGE and QTP3, absolutely amazing for a 10 year old game

Ranshak5616d ago

And its compeletly free, no paying any company for a remake lol.

Dazel5616d ago

If only it loaded that quick on the original xbox lol.

reynod5615d ago

You could say that for pretty much any Console game when compared to a entry level to midrange PC.

Solid_Snake-5615d ago

great my new pc here soon and i bought morrowind game of the year for 99p off ebay ( bargain ) so ill be installing this str8 away.

lets hope it doesnt cause any issues.

Broken Games That Never Got Fixed

While a lot (like way too many) games launch in sorry states these days, a lot of them do eventually get polished up over time fixes. The same can’t be said for these properly broken games.

Worst for me is wipeout 2048.
I got gold in every single player race, made it extremely far into the great online shop platinum was a finger away.. then lost all my online progression. Many players experienced the same and hadn’t been fixed since

Cyberpunk and No Mans Sky are obviously the 2
best comeback stories. Cyberpunk is literally one of the best RPGs ever made now.

Christopher283d ago

I wouldn't call NMS broken at release, just under-delivered.

Michiel1989284d ago

junctioning is only broken now because it's been datamined which monster which gives which card and which card gives which items and every single spell to junction with the highest points for each stat. For it's time when that info wasn't readily available it was good, not without it's flaws, but not broken,

-Foxtrot284d ago

Exactly. I never got this because what made it broken was the knowledge of what to exploit.

Playing the game for the first time back then you never had any knowledge to make it so easy.

One minute the Junction system is complicated, the next it's super easy / broken. What is it?

gold_drake284d ago

i mean, ff8 is not "broken" per se, its just that the junction system is too good and easily exploited even an hour into the game. haha

Ashunderfire86283d ago

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is one of them. I can’t get in the Cantina bar later on in the game. The door and other doors throughout the environment is locked off. It is a shame, because I wanted to complete the game, but I can’t until they fix it.
