360 gamers can play a tonne of great multiplatform games coming out next year, and one thing we know is that 90% of multiplats look/play better on the 360 ;)

2011 will still be a good year for the 360.

Nice lineup for both- PS3 obviously stronger, but that's a lot of sequels.

Has Activision announced how long its a 360 exclusive yet.

My bet is no more than 6 months so it still has chance of being on PS3 in 2011.

lol yea the list is a joke. There are prolly 30 exclusive RETAIL titles coming out for ps3 next year alone. If we're talking psn exclusives as well it's prolly about 50.

Multiplatforms are still looking the best bet in 2011 regardless.

To me it seems like Xbox guys are starting to get desperate in need of exclusives now that they've started to include DLC to their arguments. Gears of War 3 is not out yet and we don't know if it will be released for Windows too like Fable 3. XCom is not exclusive to Xbox. Kingdoms is probably not exclusive to Xbox. There is high probability that Forza 4 is exclusive. And only game we can trust to be exclusive to Xbox. Codename D? Probably not exclusive, or timed exclusive. Rise of Nightmares is probably not exclusive since Sega is publishing it. Spelunky is not exlusive to Xbox since Windows version is available like right now. Star Wars Kinect? Might be fun exclusive. Project Drago? Probably not exclusive. What was that? Two-three actual exclusive titles for Xbox 360?

So most of the games there are not exclusive to Xbox due to Windows version being available now or in future. I personally see no good reason why Windows release is less significant than Playstation or Xbox release. "Exclusive" means same as "available only for a single platform".

Exclusives to Playstation 3 and only to Playstation 3: Resistance 3, inFamous 2, Little Big Planet 2, Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, Motorstorm: Apocalypse, SOCOM: Special Forces & Twisted Metal. Not exclusive to Playstation 3: DC Universe & Final Fantasy 14 (due to Windows release).

I seriously feel bad about Xbox 360 owners. Microsoft has literally pissed into their wallets. First all sorts of hardware problems, then you pay for online service which isn't better than the rest of them and then this lack of exclusives.

Owning Xbox is almost like religion, and their devotion to the platform is amazing. I sure would have jumped the ship long ago back to Windows because it's cheaper, longer living, and technically superior gaming. :)

Really N4G? How many articles like this are going to be approved? I swear this same thing has been posted on here 20 times in 2 weeks. I read one so i read them all. We get it already. PS3 has a higher quantity of "exclusives" next year. Noone cares but fanboys. Articles like this just prove mine others points that gamers need to just own all systems. If the PS3 has 100 games come out next year, great. If the 360 has only 5, great. Who cares? If your a P$3 owner why do u care the number of games the 360 has? It's effortless to name 10, even 20 PS3 exclusives coming next year. But for 360, you REALLY have to dig deep and come up with something. CoD DLC, Kinect game...lol

My biggest issue is that the COD dlc is being thrown into the mix. I would not favour a console because dlc I PAY for comes out earlier.

There is no console exclusive war. One side of the "war" is convinced that exclusives don't matter. Nevermind that it's always been about exclusives since Atari 2600 vs Mattel Intellivision. It's all about multiplats now. What a laugh.

see the benefit when you have 20 first-party developers,
plus second party studios at your side? this will never happen to a publisher such as sony they took the time to build up & aquired all of the studios they have today.
microsoft will learn the hard way & in end thats why you have to have first party developers, third party will only get you so far.

Since when is their any "comparison" between the 2011 exclusives? The PS3 lineup is staunch. There is no arguing with that. When you get titles like Killzone 3, Little Big Planet 2, Infamous 2, Uncharted 3, they will not be proudly competed with.

These kinds of articles are a waste of time before the year begins. They should only be done in retrospect after all the games are released for the year.

Any comparison right now is purely speculation. 50% of the games won't even ship in 2011 due to delays. And another 50% of games aren't announced yet...

No, not for fanboy fodder, but for letting me know which games are hitting both platforms.

It's a little disappointing to me, personally, that the majority of the games that have me interested in my 360 this year are XBLA titles. I'm not a Gears or Forza fan, so those titles don't interest, but I'm sure fans are pumped for them. Another disappointment are how many games are Kinect games, although I'm hoping some of them, like Haunt, will let you use a controller also (doubtful).

Most of my anticipated games for the PS3 this year retail games, with some notable PSN exceptions, like Journey and Explodemon.

In either case, my budget for 2011 means I won't be able to enjoy all the games I want on EITHER console, but I should have plenty to tide me over nonetheless.

@ Manberg900. Who says Sony doesn't have things they haven't revealed either? You think that they have announced all they have but how do you know that Sony doesn't have even more to give us? Why does everyone think that Sony have spilled all the beans they have? The psychic powers that the people on N4G seem to think they have? I for one am very excited about the number of games we are getting in 2011 and that's not even including PSN games. The only draw back is I am going to have to make a lot of sacrifices next year. MSG4,Bayonetta, LBP, Bioshock 2 and R1 are going to have to go.

To enjoy all those great PS3's exclusives I have to pass on many high quality multi plataform games.

Because of that I don't think that 2011 is going to be a much better year for the PS3 owners since the players of the other console will be hell busy as well playing games(multi plata games )

Like, I am going ot buy KZ3 +Resistance 3+ Motorstorm 4 for exemple.
But if I had the 360 only I am sure I could beh happy enough playing Rage+ Brink+ Crysis 2 + Forza 4.

Just saying that it is not because the Ps3 have ~10 exlusive games for each of that will come for the Wii or the Xbox360 that that the players on those other two consoles can't have lots of fun in 2011 as well.

i don't care for this console war bs, but the idea that dlc for broken ops going to the xbox first and anyone is upset about it is laughable. i swear on all that's holy treyarch will not see another cent from me. MW was a fun game, MW2 would have been terrific if not for the OMA / noob tubes and the umpando class. black ops is a total failure as a game. there's kz3, crysis and resistance 3 to look forward to, not to mention LBP2, dead space and mass effect. treyarch can suck it.

360 list was massively padded with kinect, untitled projects and timed exclusive for multiplatform... FAIL

seriously, i own all platforms so im not concerned, point being that its pretty pathetic you have to scrape so far to the bottom of the barrel to try and match the lists up.

but even then theres a whole whack of PS3 exclusives not noted ON TOP of all the multiplatforms.

For my part the whole console wars discussion is no more than a virtual wanger waving challenge. There won't be any more multiplatform titles which won't be released on either one of the big two because of the low sales... So wtf?

For me the PS3 is the option of choice and retrospective it was the best decision to get this platform because of the games which fit my taste: Uncharted 3, LBP 2, the ICO Collection HD, The Last Guardian, Killzone 3 and Sorcery are my 2011 favs. For the future maybe Final Fantasy vs XIII. And looking into the past I had great times with LBP, Killzone 2, Uncharted 1 & 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, God of War 1 - 3, MAG, Heavy Rain as my personal GotY 2010 and last but not least the ÜBER RPG Demon's Souls, just to mention the exclusives. And there is simply not enough time and appetite for the both of them. A happy new year to everyone of you no matter which console you stick to ;) Peace!

Xcom Dc Universe Online and FFxiv are not EXCLUSIVEs and console exclusive is a made up term. If I can buy it on PC or another console then it ain't an exclusive. Timed DLC is not exclusive either. You buy the game then buy all he DLc, 8 months later the other platform gets the same DLC for free or a way cheaper price. So therefore you exclusively got raped.

HOW ABOUT PS3 exclusives vs. PC because 360 not doing too well in this department. PM me for the PC exclusives because I got one hell of a list.

In summary.....MS has one good exclusive this year and Sony has more than they could make a true comparison list with.

I love my 360..but shit. Only exclusive that I'll be playing is Gears 3. Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, and Resistance 3 on PS3 for me. Damn, that's a lot 3s..and rhymes. Hehe..

2011 is so loaded with games that even if I only owned one console I would still have more games to play than I have money or time to play them.

Most people I know only buy between 4 and 8 games a year. That's the truth. Of course there will always be a few exceptions that buy like 13 games a year, but most people buy much fewer. So my point is, if you only have money and time to play maybe 7 or 8 games next year, there are going to be so many games you miss out on no matter what.

Those people, like myself, who own multiple platforms are going to have it the worst. I will probably play like 2 games on my PS3, 4 on my 360 and 5 on my PC. But if I only owned just one of any of those 3 platforms I would still have more good games available to me than money or time to play them.

There are so many awesome multiplatform games coming in 2011 that I will only be able to fit in a couple of the best exclusives.

It's not even funny anymore. the small few uncool 360 fanboys on N4G can't even talk themselves into thinking 2011 is the year of the 360 as they are even upset about what M$ has done.
