I find these "open letter" game complaints rather ridiculous. It's basically getting up on a soap-box and whining in public. The sense of entitlement in the game community is amazing. Can you imagine people writing "open letters" because the movie "Little Fockers" doesn't live up to the quality of "Meet the Parents?" The guy in this "letter" says that he was well aware of the general negative consensus regarding TFU2. He bought it anyway. Nobody made him do that.

Yes, I'm ready for the N4G crowd to proverbially "rip me a new one" with a slew of disagrees and perhaps some personal attacks.

Going on though, these endless rants don't change nearly as much as simply using the power of your wallet. If TFU 2 is horrible but still sells six million copies, do you think the devs will give two sh!#$ about these open letters? Do they ever? Every year COD makes more money than the year before, despite the fact that every year the gaming community becomes increasingly vocal about how much they hate it. Guess what? Nothing will change until more people walk-the-walk (not buying) than buying and complaining loudly.

Remember: Devs don't owe us anything and we don't owe them anything in return. The simplest way to make them listen is to refuse to give them money for inferior products.

yeah we are the ones who buy their crap, that is why many developers these days put the bare minimum of work into it cuz they know it will sell well because of the name

^^^Exactly

Couldn't agree more. Loved TFU2. Too short, but still loved it. Have my own opinion on where the franchise should have went and where I'd like to see it go, but what can you do?

Komega5622d ago

I somewhat agree with you here, but at the same time TFU2 did suck tremendous sack!

Komega5622d ago

Quick question, is it ok to rent then? I mean some of us have this need to experience anything Star Wars as it's been in our system since we were a fetus.

I mean you don't want us snapping from the withdrawals, walking into our local gamestop, and beating the hell out of innocent people with our plastic lightsabers...

best metaphor for TFU2 EVER!!!

seraphcaeli5622d ago

I thought it was pretty good. :-(

Liuqahs155622d ago

Haha the first step is admitting, my friend.

Komega5622d ago

Ugh...delusional man is delusional

rezzah5622d ago

I played the demo and knew it was shyt, I could just tell by playing. The combat was too repetitive and the controls were very tight and clunky.

Liuqahs155622d ago

I actually enjoyed the demo lol. Which is why the game's shittiness shocked me.

eh…Gilbert, Purcell Schaffer were the trail blazers in that crew. David, while he did do some stuff once, like a real long ass time ago is more like b-list personality that specializes in reminiscing and signing ops at a convention.

Dope! Gotta be honest tho, i completely forgot this existed 😅

Sonic18811271d ago

Still in the early stages. We won't get a reveal until two more years probably 😂

rlow11271d ago

I wish they would make another Riddick, Butchers Bay was the best.

hotnickles1270d ago

You know what games I want way more than Indiana Jones? The darkness and Riddick.

Snookies121270d ago (Edited 1270d ago )

Haha, completely agree... But, the fact that he is involved in this is a definitely a positive sign! Could actually be a good game!

hotnickles1270d ago

You might be right. Indiana Jones will never do Jackie or Riddick stuff though. The darkness was brutal on the eyes and ears lol.

Leeroyw1270d ago

The Darkness was an underrated gem. Fantastic lore and Mike patton from Faith No More voicing the darkness is up there with the great video game voice overs imo.
