Quake Completed on Nightmare Difficulty in 48 Minutes

Here is an awesome speed run which sees Quake finished on Nightmare difficulty in 48 minutes. I always thought the original Quake was a lot longer than it really is. However, when it is completed in 48 minutes of course it seems very short!

WOW 52 minute YouTube video.

Legacy Account.

That's impressive enough in itself.

If you think about it, in some ways this is like solving a rubix cube. It takes lots of hand-eye coordination. An exceptionally good memory of where every turn, every wall, every enemy is etc.. A rubix cube is not so difficult as long as you know how it functions. All this takes is practice of learning every nook and cranny in the entire game. Still very impressive, and lots of dedication went into this.

Lol sir a Rubix Cube is not all that hard to solve at all, i kinda find this more complex than the cube

I cant believe how fast it moves. Do you think it might be sped up?

Quake Demake Is only 13 Kilobytes in Size

triverse writes, "When you think of demakes you probably think of newer games on older hardware. Probably because that is how they occur more often. Another type of demake is made for the same platform just a different graphics style (many remakes offer this option at the flick of a button). What if I told you someone made Quake, but it is only 13 kilobytes in size. For comparison that is about one quarter the size of the original Super Mario Bros on the Nintendo Entertainment System. The kicker is, this version of Quake looks amazing, and everything explodes into gibs everywhere."
