Of all the problems that plague MMOs, RMT (real money trading) is perhaps the most disruptive to normal gameplay. By design, almost every MMO has some form of tradable currency that can be collected through normal gameplay. The time it takes to collect that currency has an inherent value, which varies from player to player as not every player values his free time at the same level. It's inevitable that cash-rich players who value their time highly will often want to shortcut normal gameplay by buying the currency directly for cash.

Game Rant recently spoke with some long-time EVE Online players who all shared some key advice for any players jumping into EVE for the first time.

Wccftech interviewed CEO Hilmar Veigar Pétursson at EVE Fanfest to talk about Online, Frontier, Vanguard, and more.
Eve Online is a very fun alternative to WOW.
I'm just a rookie at it and won't be into deeply until after the Super Bowl but one thing I do know is if you blow up someone's capital ship they are not just gonna whip out a credit card and buy another one. The first thing they are gonna do is throw their PC out the window in a Rage and then go cry in the corner.
There are severe consequences for dying in Eve plus riding through space and blowing up people's cargo ships for Plex is really fun and yes you will feel like quiting ALL GAMING period when it happens to you but that's the joy of Eve when your able to move up the ranks and inflict payback.
