RPGs and Motion Controllers Dominate 2011

"As if you didn’t already know, the video game industry often relies on sequels to chart-topping titles to keep their pockets deep and fans at bay each and every year. Next year will be no different as Electronic Arts has two key sequels in the form of Alice: Madness Returns and Dragon Age 2 readied, Capcom is gearing up to release a Kinect-ready sequel in Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor and the cult-favorite Marvel vs. Capcom 3."

I think anything is possible, look how far the gaming industry has come in just the past couple of years. Motion controllers may not be for everyone, but that is the way technology is going. It's going to be interesting to see what kind of games they successfully tie it to. Great article thanks for the info and the many questions that are wondering around in my head.

I played Alice: Madness Returns for the first time last year. What an amazing game and adventure. It's a huge shame we aren't getting a sequel to it. It absolutely deserves another game.

oh yeah, I remember this game! I remember liking it, but found the platforming to be utterly obnoxious. Loved the world design.

Good review!
