Um...no. ME2 on PS3 is a year-late rehash of a 360/PC sequel; on PS3 it's not a sequel AT ALL.

Maybe both, depends on the LBP2 demo.

But then, I got Mass Effect 2 on the 360 the day it came out so I would say that. Get both if you can; you can't possibly go wrong.

LBP2, with that could not only make ME2, but ME3, too. In other words: ME2=1 great game. LBP2=X+1 great games.

Both are very different games, why not just try both?

ive already own mass effect 2 so obviously im going to get lbp2. To be honest mass effect 2 was disappointing it shouldn't even be called an rpg.

Why ask which one when we can get them both for the same system? Why quibble when we have so many options for games next year? I can buy LBP2 now and ME2 later or vice versa. Or you can just buy Little Mass Planet Effect 2 and be happy too.

Because people could still wait a bit before playing Mass Effect 2 as Mass Effect 3 will be released at the end of the year.

So I guess it would be better to enjoy LBP 2 for now and during Summer play through Mass Effect 2 and get ready for Mass Effect 3, at least you wouldn't have to wait for almost a year to see how the story unfolds.

That only applies to those who need to choose of course, getting both is still wiser for those who want both of them. Hell, some might also want Dead Space 2. Poor wallet :/

Edit: At least we're getting ME2/LBP2/DS2 demos tomorrow, so everyone can actually decide which game suits them better.

ME2 is overrated imo but I'll try the demo to see what's all the hype about. If I like it I'll buy it but LBP2 is definitely a must buy.

Unless your stupid you go with LBP2, and I bet within the first 3 weeks there's a couple good ME2 user made levels done in the game.

I'm on my third playthrough of the PC version of Mass Effect 2 (playing FemShep once again of course, without Jennifer Hale's wonderful voice I don't think I would love the Mass Effect series quite as much as I do) - it's easily in my top 5 games in my ~25 years of gaming.

I'm very happy for those of my fellow PS3 gamers who don't also have a gaming PC (or a 360), that they finally get a chance to experience this fantastic game series - even if they will have to do without the first game (which was very good in its own right when it was released, but compared to ME2 the gameplay mechanics often felt clumsy, Bioware obviously not being properly at home yet with the blend of RPG and 3rd person shooter).

Its not question LBP2 all the way pre-ordered collectors edition already. Just waiting and playing the beta right now so not big hurry 8).

A real playstation fan will get LBP2 because we dont need multiplatform games.

...I plan on getting ME3 for the PS3, so I’ll get the PS3 version eventually... and since I’ll have ample time to beat the PS3 version, I’ll get LBP2 first.

Already beat ME2 so LBP2 for me, but if I hadn't and only had $60.00 to spare it would depend on what I was feeling for at the time, they are very different games.

I have been thinking this conundrum for uch while now and I came down to the reasoning my birthday is in January so hopefully both.

Lbp2, honestly never even wanted Mass Effect 2 not into Scfi nerd talk.

For me, if I was going to get either (which I won't...) it would be ME2, no doubt.

I bought LBP day-1, and it didn't take long to realize the game just isn't for me. I won't go in-depth why but, even though I have no doubt it'll be a great game, there's no way I'm getting LBP2.

If I was a PS3 gamer I'd go with LBP2 on Day 1 and then wait for ME3 to release to get both ME2 and ME3 at the same time so its like one HUGE game.

i already own ME2 for the 360, so the PS3 version can wait for a while.

next year, my gaming budget is super limited, so i'm all about getting the new releases, or at least, games i haven't played before. except for Ico Collection. i WILL own that in HD. it's my one exception.

i'll get the PS3 version of ME2 if i can swing it later on.

Absolute garbage company along side all the heads that made Andromeda.

Maybe Saudi Arabia make something out of this.

overall if they could get CDPR and quadratic dream to help them make the game that would give me hope for the game
