TouchGen - Jenga review

TouchGen - Jenga is one of those games that really gets my adrenaline levels into overdrive when playing friends in real life. The premise is simple, and perhaps that is why it can become so engaging. Everyone can play it, and mastering it is hard. Rather it is a matter of tactics when playing against your friends. Natural Motion tries to capture the intensity of Jenga for the small screens. To some extent they manage really well, and by default not that well in some areas.

TouchArcade: 'Tis the season for App Store freebies, fa la la la la, la la la la. Or something. Tonight's freebies are a solid adventure game, and a really weird adaptation of a board/puzzle game that you totally wouldn't think would work when you make an app out of it... But it totally does...

Jenga Review | GameWoof

Everyday more traditional board games are getting the digital treatment. It was inevitable that Hasbro would eventually license out the name and game of Jenga to a developer so it could get the virtual treatment. As you would expect, there have been a few cracks at turning the game digital in the past. Jenga for the PC, however, was laughable affair. Attempting to emulate the feeling of removing blocks using your hand with a mouse simply failed to to be an entertaining approximation of the real thing.
