Bitmob Community Writer Rick Knight: I love the Mass Effect series. It epitomizes why I play video games. I endured Spike's grueling Video Game Awards on Saturday night because I heard rumors of a Mass Effect announcement. I've since watched the trailer for Mass Effect 3 revealed at the show over 20 times already. Over the next week, I'll likely get that number up to triple digits.
But I digress. Back to the trailer itself: A lot of things jump out right away in this 60-second clip. Some of it I find incredibly interesting, other parts surprising. Let's break it down and see how far this rabbit hole goes.

One of the best things about the Mas Effect series is the companions you meet along the way. So here is a tier list of all the companions from Mass Effect!
To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

This Canada Day, explore our homeland with the best video games that have adapted or reimagined the Great White North in digital form.
What's up with all these CG animations? Gosh, at least some PS3 exclusives get to show some gameplay segments.
On topic: Never played ME but I'm willing to try after all the hype.

Does anyone else think that Mass Effect 3's official revealing was just awesome overall?
That trailer was fkn amazing. I'm amazed by ME and this is a day 1 buy for me. :D
phwoar cant wait, mass effect series is the best rpg of the last ten yrs in my book
When I saw the Reapers all around, I went nuts. Mass Effect 3 has a lot to live up to since ME2 was such a great game, but I think Bioware is up to it. This is one of my favorite franchises ever.
