i am only going to buy it if it has long battery life with videos and if all video formats are supported.

Um dose enyone know THAT you will beable to download the songs right off the MP3 thats why the screen is so big not sure abotu video most likly though this gadget out to cost around the price of the 360 hahahahah personally Im gunna wait to see if they brake easly because if there like an ipod SCREW IT im waitin for the iGame to come out!!!!!!!

I had the creative zen Vision:M and must say I LOVED IT. Much better video capabilities and video performance than my Ipod Video had.

HOWEVER, I ended up returning it ....... WHY you ask ?? Simple ........ Once the battery runs down to the point you cannot use it ... YOU MUST sent it to Creative for replacement. And me being in Canada, by the time I ship and pay for battery and install .... I just spent another $100 USD .... that is BULLSH!T.

SO ..... my wish is that this thing has:
- Very nice video
- nice hard drive size (options in size would be nice)
- good battery life (my Creative gave my 5 hours of video playback and well over 18 hours for music)
- USER REPLACEABLE BATTERY

If you can replace you own battery after the one that comes with it dies (year to year and a half) this will PUSH THIS PLAYER LIKE CRAZY.

Microsoft doen't know how to design things, it looks freakin UGLY. I'll stick with my iPod 60Gig.

Did anybody read the article? It states that the picture is in black and white due to high security? It's not in black and white, look at the ear peices, part of it is chrome. In a black and white picture the chrome part wouldn't be that shiny.

i can't wait for this to come out, i actually have a sony walkman 20 gig mp3 player. the hardware isn't bad, the screen sucks and so does the song navigation, but the batter is awsome, lasts 35-40hrs between charges. However, i want to throw the thing out of the car window so badly, first you have to use sonic stage software to load anything on the player and that is the worst software ever written. it freezes, it dies, it takes 8minutes to change tabs and god help you if you actually want to transfer the music you have better odds at lotto that song actually ends up on the player and forget about being able to rename or sort music once its on the player. my wife has an ipod and i could go on about that POS also.

This gadget from Microsoft sounds awesome. Two things however:

1. The looks of it. The ipod might be overpriced and easily breakable but it looks damn sexy.
2. Please change the name. I hope this is just a prototype name.
