Wow. If you guys had trouble with the first few zones in Cataclysm, I really don't know what to say except you're still walking around in quest greens from WOTLK or have no damn clue what you're doing.
Anyone who's even completed Icecrown chains should be able to blow through the first few levels without a hitch. If you can't take on more than one mob solo, you seriously need to learn to play better. Any mage worth his or her salt knows how to kite multiple mobs without breaking a sweat.
On that note, I sincerely doubt you'll have even touched end game content by the 22nd of December, meaning your review will be incomplete and inaccurate. Prove me wrong, but I'm guessing you'll hit 85 and be like, "Oh well, good enough," and not even bother to experience raiding.
