
GameCity, the videogames festival, today announced the dates of its 2011 event. Following the success of GameCity5’s 45,000 visitor record-smashing triumph, the dates for GameCity6 have been officially announced, running from Tuesday 25 to Saturday 29 of October throughout a number of Nottingham’s key venues.

VRFocus reports on indie developer Triangular Pixels announcing its new title Unseen Diplomacy VR will be a GameCity exclusive.

The 2014 GameCity festival is currently running across Nottingham, UK, with plenty for virtual reality (VR) enthusiasts to see and do. But if hands-on with the likes of Pixel Rift and Smash Hit Plunder isn’t enough then perhaps you should turn your attention to Nix, a new VR compatible puzzle experience that has today been announced the winner of the 2014 Off The Map competition held by the British Library, Crytek and GameCity itself.

Last week VRFocus reported that Pixel Rift, Smash Hit Plunder and Glitchspace would all be appearing at the event. Now it’s been confirmed that, following last weekend’s Play Expo in Manchester, Coatsink Software will also be bringing its VR puzzle title, Esper on Samsung’s Gear VR smartphone-based head-mounted display (HMD).
