Interesting.This plus Japan means PS3 is still outselling 360 WW despite the fact that Kinect will push them ahead.That's with the newness factor.Next year PS3 looks stronger and has more room for price cuts to have an impact.
GT5 was a huge software mover but not hardware(in EU according to the reliable VGcharts?????)except in Japan where it moved over twice as many units.

vgc, not really a reliable source, but still if true, there are three ps3 games in the top 10 and one 360, also the hardware sales Sony sold more last week in the EMEAA, except UK and Australia/New Zealand. The PS3 is doing better.

If Kinectimals 2 releases then its Game over for Sony and Nintendo. Face it ps3 fanboys what does ps3 or any console have that can remotely match Kinect titles. After seeing kinectimals I realised why I got into gaming in the first place. To see amazing titles like kinectimals. Big Pappy , IHATEUFANBOYS , units , Omega are true role models for all gamers on how to appreciate great art and sales.

That Kinect game is selling suprisingly good. I hope MS continue to make more kinect games and eventually all kinect games.

That would be just right time for me to ditch 360. And, yes I am not super excited about "move" crap either.

There's no more system sellers on this generation, i think that Sony & Microsoft have understood it when they start to want a motion control on their system like on Wii.
It's not games that push you to buy a new console now but the gameplay for it. Pëople are more interested in Kinect because they already know Move because they played on Wii, Kinect is new to them so they buy it, that doesn't mean Kinect has good games we all know that, it just means that microsoft has given to people something that can match their expectations or projection in the future. Nobody thought the Wii would sells tons of console when it released, i think it's gonna be the same with kinect.
Core gamers will stay on Ps3, 2011 will be a great year for core players but i don't know if it's gonna be a good year for Sony or as good as they expected when they made their decision to move to wii aspect hardware with MOVE. We' ll see, sells in the US will be strong for Microsoft next year. That can change everything definitely.

Is this place full of school kids. Who really cares which console is selling the most or what is a flop. Its all about games. This year has been one of the best years of resent years for gamers. Sony had a good start to the year with what they gave us and MS had a better end to the year. We have had move and kinect which both offer something new to us gamers. No one knows for sure what is going to happen next year in sales or what games will be released for all 3 consoles so lets all grow up and start doing what us gamers do and play games we like.

Any GT5 PS3 bundle sold is a PS3 console sold. People have to accept that

It's not even as if you can say that the numbers are close estimates when they're off by such a wide margin . You have Sony saying such amount, and then you have VGChartz saying, 'well no Sony, pfft, it's actually X amount.'

So apparently Gran Turismo 5 sold incredibly well but the overall PS3 sales declined?
