Well, our network is finally up. I would just like to clarify that since MS is going for payment on Live we might as well do it too so we can make some profit. Well, maybe on launch day in *hint* 2007 *cough* we will make our online services free, the never again.

Use you brain, in life you get what you pay for. For xbox live I get a premium service that is rock solid, have tons of demos and other DLC. There is actually someone on the other end of the phone line if I need help with something. Just look at the list of features that are on xbox live you have VOIP, video messaging, text messaging, friends list, thousands of downloaded content and much more in the works like live anywhere. Now take a look at the free alternatives like Nintendo Wifi, PSP online and PS2 online, they have poor features and the connection is really poor.

I pay $60 canadian for xbox live in 1 year, I pay 10 times that for my cell phone bill.

But the Playstation is my dream and my passion and I beg you to buy a PS3 so I can take your money. The PS#3 Network will succeed... please!...

Once again....If a game truly needs to use up 25 gigs of disc space, which I doubt will happen unless its just hd video, thats what a game being released on a duel sided hd dvd at 30 gigs is for. Or for those who don't have the hd dvd....3 dvd discs at 27 gigs of data. Storage space will not be an issue with games in the next 5 years. So you can brag that you can play a game with slow 2 speed load times that holds 25 gigs of data...and we can brag that we can play the same time and load 3 discs if needed with much faster load times. Give and take. Faster load times but at certains parts of the game completion we have to change the disc...or one disc with Slooooooooow load times. As long as we can play it, is it anything to brag about? lol....

Why don't you listen to the ps3 editors from IGN and PS3land and buy a 360 and a ps3. Then you can definately play me online and we don't have to wait. I mean, you might not even get a ps3 this year. P.S. Don't say that the ps3 online will be run with developers servers, or that they won't charge for it. In fact, it's pointless even to discuss it because at this point we just don't know. Sony can change or announce anything at any time, and until it's an official statement, it's just rumor.

Its not a rumor, they said it will be free online play. Sony said it themsleves. Thats no rumor. The way they plan is, through micropayments, you only pay for what you want. Its like, if there are more maps available, or more vehicles, or more weapons, just as an example, those are payments. But to PLAY ONLINE, against other people, that is free of charge, that is not a rumor, but a fact.

Thats why 4 of the top ten games are 360 games and thats with a small fan base in comparisson to ps2, gamecube, ect.... So the games you don't like for some reason...people are buying them, loving them, and reviewers from all the sites have given 7's, 8's, and 9's. due to the small selection of quality 360 titles, there's a greater chance of the same titles being purchased over and over which thus pushes those titles into the top-ten list. Games from other systems on the other hand are more diverse and thus have a smaller chance of making the top ten list, despite selling very large quantities in total. Plus the major PS2 titles such as Okami, FF7:Dirge of Cerberus, Rogue Galaxy, FFXII, and God of War II have not been released yet. (i.e. summer drought)

What would benefit this view is if the NPD released the total software sales figures for each console, as well as software to hardware ratios per month.

Microsoft also announced that more than 80 per cent of Live users have downloaded content from Xbox Live Marketplace - bringing the total number of downloads to more than 46 million.

I can't imagine what they'd do to Katamari on the PS3. Though, it'd be nice to be able to go from the size of a grain of sand (and competing with insects) to getting so large that you start picking up asteroids, planets, solar systems... I dunno, there's some insane possibilities there. I also hope they don't get tempted to go photorealistic on us; I really liked the quirky, blocky art style. Smoother objects/characters wouldn't bother me though.

I have an hd dvd player and my 360 games look amazing de interlaced and playing in 1080p. I will repeat. I do not want a blu ray player. I will never buy a blu ray movie. Between both system i have 3 gamertags on them. On certain games such as BF2:MC you cannot go online with two profiles playing splitscreen. So we use to different 360's and gamertags so we can play.
