Square Enix is a cautionary tale. The have some of the oldest fanbases out there a instead of giving them what they asked for, the strung them along so hard that they no longer sale what they once did because their audience is literally dying off. And even when they finally got around to doing FF7 you can feel that while good, the game is lacking the polish it deserves. It is can be clunky, slow, and fights you for no reason with layers of artificial difficulty masquerading as challenge.

The FF9 remake was part of the Nvidia leak many moons ago. Not sure what happened since then but Square seems to excel at mucking things up.

Sony's latest video game console, the PlayStation 5, which is part of the ninth generation of video game consoles, has outsold the lifetime sales of the PlayStation 3, according to VGChartz estimates.
The PS5 has sold an estimated 89.44 million units worldwide through December, while the PlayStation 3 sold 87.40 million units lifetime.
i bet the official number is over 90 million at this point for PS5, putting it at about 28 million away from reaching PS4 numbers. not bad considering the system has only gone up in price over the years.
So PS5 is already at or close to 90 million sold already? That's impressive... Surely PS5 will in all likelihood surpass 100 million units sold by this time next year... Possibly even this year with GTAVI.
All I ask if for a new WipEout for PSVR2... Or atleast a damn remaster for WipEout Omega Collection for PSVR2! Please bros... We need a true WipEout for PSVR2!!!!!
If this game succeed I wont be surprise for a DRY sequel.
