The Warhawk servers are just as full as they were before 1.92.

The store loads just as well as it did before 1.92.

Webbrowsing works just as well as it did before 1.92.

That site is nothing but a joke site.

hopefully sony can fix this before the store gets updated tomorrow cause I know some people would like to try out the stranglehold demo and any other demo coming out that day.

For websites that are not responding....delete cookies, delete cache, and delete authenticity under tools or view, after you enter your browser. This will make your web pages run even smoother if you have been surfing alot. For the sign in problem...she said give Sony some time. They will fix any problems ASAP. The store is fine to me.

However, I would rather not be able to connect randomly because of an update rather than having the update brick my system any day IMHO.

I can't connect to the Warhawk servers anymore, it says Processing Login then times out.

I haven't had any trouble getting onto PSN or browsing the web. That's weird though.

I couldn't get on the web browser since last night, or the PS store. Figured something was up, maybe even thought my PS3 was broke. I need this damn thing working.

i just now gave up on online resistance and hit refresh on this site only to find this on the front page. hmm. i updated the other day and i've played twice today already, so this issue happened to me within the last 5 hours.

Open up the Web Browser, press Triangle to go to Tools, and delete your Internet Cache and Cookies. Warhawk suddenly logs in right away for me.

I was just on last night without issue, maybe I'm one of the lucky ones.

it works for me. after updating warhawk wouldn't connect but the store and the web browsers did. Someone here suggested a test connection and after I did that it worked and i was able to get in warhawk. May you guys should try it and report back.

Downloaded 1.92, and never experienced anything. I even got on a ranked server first try on Warhawk.

i have a small issue with getting into the store but it never takes more then a few trys.

Since the upgrade I have found it very hard and most of the time impossible to log on. WarHawk being the biggest pain in the butt after the new firmware. I have also had a noticeable change in Rainbow 6 Vegas and GRAW2. They seem to take a bit longer to establish a connection as well. One other thing I would like to note is that I have been having trouble keeping my *NEW* bluetooth head set connected, it's the one that came with WH. Any how under the options I have no problems connecting the head set, but once I load a game the head set is no longer connected. This problem had me pretty Po'ed, but seem to go away after several reboots. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing the head set problem.

sorry but for me the shop loads now faster, and the internet browser is faster too, there are no problems with this update.

not saying this is gunna help everyone but i was haveing pretty much all the same issues as you guys internet, ps store warhawk the lot i tried what was sugested above about doing a internet connection test and havent had any probs since its worth a trying hope it helps

just delete ya cookies cache history and auth in your browser so nothing remains, then play warhawk saves you the hassle of rebooting the console or doing the connection test over and over again,

All 3 methods work i just find deleting the temporary internet files quickest and easiest

This gen hasn't been the best for games, last gen consoles are still out there and now there's been talk of the PS6 and Xbox Two for a year or so. Many games this gen will be ported to next gen and the cycle will continue. The re-release of the Neo Geo AES+, games on cartridge for £70 ($95), gaming is going back in time. Gaming has gone pricing mad with the high cost of games, consoles and controllers. The men and women at the top are clueless.

It’s always interesting to hear behind-the-scenes stories like this, especially involving veterans like Shuhei Yoshida and leadership figures like Jim Ryan. That said, there are usually multiple sides to decisions at that level. It could be less about not “listening” and more about differences in long-term vision for PlayStation. Yoshida played a huge role in shaping the brand, so whatever the reason, his impact is undeniable.

If true, and I'm inclined to believe it is, it goes to show that Sony lost their way when they became more western/didn't respect the PlayStation origin story. Andrew House and Jack Tretton did great work, but they also didn't try to fundamentally change the PlayStation DNA. Ryan oversaw the death of Japan Studio and a live service direction.

I miss the first three generations of PlayStation. The way they turned PS3 around, we knew they meant business. We were all worried for a bit there around launch. Eventually from 2008 they started shifting slowly. But since Yoshida was fired, it's never been the same. Still enjoy my PS5 daily. I got a backlog dating back to PS2 lol So I'm fine but new games aren't as appealing anymore.

It seems like we were thrown on to the worst timeline possible where everything is too expensive and the wrong people were put in positions that makes the world a shitty place. We could have had Shu as the head of PS but we got the shitty alternative. Same goes for everyone in power around the world. Doesn’t matter the company or country the majority of us got the shitty picks and the world is declining like never before. I do think PS can come out of this because of their studios, talent and IP but they need someone more in touch with gamers leading things like Shu was. They’re still the best place for console gaming imo but it could be much better than it is especially without the massive live service failures. The rest of the world I have a lot less hope for right now. Hopefully the pendulum swings back towards the good ole days but I’m preparing for the worst.

So now there's certifiable proof that Ryan was in fact "fired", as opposed to when it was first announced that he "retired", in order to save face.

There's another guy who recently "retired" as CEO of another large gaming company, after doing a dismantling job as lead for well over a decade.

seems legit, the business man, fires the one who has ideas to move the business forward.

Jim Ryan is the reason why we are entering year 6 since the PS5 launch and many of us don't feel like the PS5 has gotten started as yet.

I hope going forward, we will see a return to form.
