Im not impressed just bring us Yakuza end of days and Yakuza 5 instead of another space/droid shooter. Japanese dvelopers should just stop trying to appeal to the west we dont all like shooters this much.

Aaaaand you lost me 50 seconds in with the Huge Muscle dude with a machine gun. Also a 4 minute long trailer is more than just a teaser IMO

I though it will be something like Z.O.E. or Virtual On. And what we got is lame Terminator copy. This is bad... really bad...

The premise is quite generic in my opinion : "In 2080, Tokyo is invaded by robots. The metropolis is split into two parts, the lower levels where a war rages on and a peaceful upper level for affluent. You’re part of an international peace keeping squad battling the robot threat."

The enemies are Terminator-ish.

The cut-scenes reminds me of Yakuza series graphic, don't know if it's better / worse in final version, yet.

The characters are somewhat borrowed Vanquish's Sam Gideon in Resident Evil costume (the white guy) & Gears Of Wars (the black guy).

The dialogue is amusing, if not "bad".........

Generic as hell and of course there's a stereotypical muscle bound black guy with his urban speech. I bet they used Hip Hop Gamer as a cultural consultant. He has connections yo!

Sega got it right (kinda) with Vanquish. Give me more of that and less of this iRobot meets Terminator bullshit.

i gtta be honest, i couldnt help but facepalm multiple times in this trailer, but then things started to pick up.

- That little switcheroo to the 'upper world'.

Could be good, but you know it's just gnna be another terd person pew pew affair.

Also, anyone else think the main has striking resemblence to that Fettel character in Fear? That and crossed with Chris Redfield in resi 1 fitness mode (as opposed to sted popping beef tank resi 5 mode)

Honestly, can the video game industry come across as more generic and standard than it does in this trailer?

Plus lulz at SEGA for trying to appeal to the Western crowd by shoveling in a couple of stock 'gaijin' lunkheads to engage in not-so-witty banter and cliche-ridden dialogue. Honestly, it was embarrassing.

I'll stick with the Yakuza series thanks.

lol you all say its generic, yet buy every years COD crap. how is black ops not generic as hell? didnt stop you all from giving kotic your money again. wont stop you from doing the same thing next november either when they come out with their new generic cod game.

i do not think its possible to do a non-generic game anymore. every cliche will be used because that is what sales products. any dev that tries to do anything that is not generic is rewarded with low sales on their game because people need these cliches to identify with. low sales with high production costs lead to devs not willing to take chances so they stick to what they hope will sale based on what has sold before. im at least hoping to see some more interesting story from this game. it has a metropolis meets armitage type feel going for it so far, and thats a good thing even if the gameplay ends up being generic.
