Despite it not being the general consensus, Pro-G are not completely convinced by Mass Effect's merits.
It certainly looks impressive, and many parts of the game are hugely enticing, but developer Bioware and publisher Microsoft Game Studios' focus on Mass Effect's conversation system and subsequent branching storyline has made Pro-G, and many others suspicious.

Bioware writes: "Like you, we’ve heard the rumors lately. You’ve made it clear you care deeply about what’s next. So let’s start by setting the record straight: the next Mass Effect game is in development, and EA and BioWare remain committed to telling more stories in this universe."
I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed
Like with Fallout, it's starting to feel studios are using TV / Film adaptations when they have no game info to talk about.
So the TV show will take place after the OG trilogy. I wonder which ending they’ll use?
Should’ve just posted a picture of an Elcor saying “regretfully, we have nothing to share.”

Thanks to their innovative approach to gaming, RPGs like Dark Souls, Final Fantasy VII, and Dragon Quest left a significant impact on the genre.
ES3 set things off, it's a shame they got greedy and decided to cut corners so the executives could get huge pay days.

GF365: "A friend makes the adventure all the more fun. Here are the best video game companions that will keep you company."
the combat looks good but im not to interested in spending half the time talking to people, i mean come on, games are ment to be fun and talking to NPC's with pre-set responces doesnt sound all that fun to me. plus there cant be that many possible changes that can come from your actions otherwise this game would have to be MASSIVE and i cant see that fitting on a DVD9!
all in all, more action, less chatting please...
edit @ snoop_dizzle, i guess your right mate, i mean if it was all action then it would be just like so many other games, im just hoping for a healthy balance, say 50-50, i find some rpg's hard work and not very fun!
Don't want to be hearing this about a game so many have been waiting for..
"..there are nagging doubts and high expectations". Hmm, Time will tell.
I expect this to be like a next-gen KOTOR. People who loved the KOTOR games should like this game. Likewise, people that didn't get into KOTOR probably won't like this game either.
KOTOR games and Oblivion had a lot of talking to NPC and some branching, I don't see how this is a problem.
A little cold water to cool down the hype would do this game some good. Expectations, like everything else, have to be managed skillfully.
its almost like its cool to say something negative about something so hyped. the guy didnt even get a hands on. but, knowing how trendy it is to go against the norm, he picks at things that really shouldnt be picked at.
every conversation having the power to kill a major character with the wrong choice? you can tell why he doesnt make games. whilst its good to have open ended ness, a game needs some linearity to function right.
theres a percentage of journo's jumping on this negative bandwagon seemingly to cause some ruckus and get some attention. they'll all be eating some serious 'i-was-wrong-its-f*ckin-awesom e' pie come november
