I played it at Gamescom, it's pretty awesome, a huge step up from GW, it actually took the "best online game" award there too, just wish we'd get a beta soon.

Is this free to play? I do not like that at all with MMOs. But otherwise looks great.

guild wars is one of the few multiplayer game that can change things in the MMo genre.

Looking forward to GW2. I prefer the realistic look of Guild Wars vs the cartoony look of WoW.

I've played the original GW since the beginning, and absolutely love it. I've beat all 4 campaigns on my Ranger/Mesmer The Final Hero. Though the PvE is nothing amazing, the PvP is the best out there at the moment. However, GW2 seems to be removing all the things I loved about Guild Wars 1 even going so far as restructuring the PvP because people complained the original was "too complex" with its skill point distribution, equipment and builds. They also appear to have added a healing skill to each class for some reason which mitigates the effectiveness of Monks which apparently may not make it into the game. This stuff plus the "downed mode" ( http://www.guildwars2.com/e... make this game sound like it was catered for casuals who can't play an online game. Seriously, "Defeat in Guild Wars 2 is intended to be an experience, not a punishment." what kind of garbage is that?

I wanna know how much i will have to upgrade my pc to play on gw2, i may go on the site and find out because it looks so sweet, wish it was coming to ps3, because then i would not have to worry

If the demo at PAX is anything to go by, this game with be fantastic.

I'm not a huge fan of MMO's, but this looks pretty damn fun!

I hope so since FFXIV FAILED so badly. Those where the only two MMO games I was even considering playing. I really enjoyed the first so lets hope they step it up and bring something even more fun.
