I always have to try about 10 rooms and spend about 5 minutes before I get in one. Small price to pay though cause once I'm on, I stay on for the next 6 hours.

i only get this if i try to join games on the very top of the list. if you scroll down, you can join no problem.

You get what you pay for.

If you have a clan that is well organzied you can just make ur own game. Even if you have only one friend online you can start your own game and it will fill up fast.

It can be hard to get into a game. I have taken up to 10min b4 but i have also had times where i get into a massive war within 2min of loading the game.

Everyone is nutty over this game and you cant blame them. Its truley awesome fun

if the servers are full that must mean sony has themselves a great game on there hands. and yes i am having issues but not 15 minutes worth. plus when you get into a great server it makes you for the waiting.

Use ur Warhawk to take ppl to neutral flags. If u have someone with you PLEASE drop them off where they can be of some help. I hate getting caught in a warhawk with a total NOOB who doesnt see he has a passenger.

They will fix it in next few days. Lets not forget that it was Saturday and Sunday, some people rest and dont work those two days :-)

On the next warhawk update, they should include ranked and unranked Matchmaking, that would be really easy for everyone who wants to join in and play.

They need more rooms for people that have higher ranking because I dont see that much level 2. rooms and everytime I try to get in a ill be able to play for like 15-20 min. and all of a sudden its network disconnecting clearing network crap and then when i go back the room is gone, and other thing when you refresh the rooms some of the rooms say 15 outta 32 and it still says it full. Come on Sony the beta was experiencing the freeze glitches now we cant even get into a room and rank or there ain't enough rooms for people with high ranks. When I was on last it certainly seemed like they could use more central servers - they were pretty packed.

Anyone else notice that seemingly none of the Sony servers allow for split screen? We had 4 player going over here and we couldn't play on any of the Sony servers which was a slight bummer.

I'm experiencing what MANY people is experiencing too.

It's difficult to get into a SCEA ranked game.. and sometimes it's difficult even on unranked user created games.

It's a problem I'm sure they will fix. Probably took them by surprised because maybe they didn't expect this game to be this popular so quickly..

Give it time. They will find a way to correct this.

It takes about a few minutes to get into certain games but I have yet to make it into a ranked game. I'm sure they'll fix this issue soon because a lot of PS3 owners bought this game.

a lot of the time it says 28 of 30 and i get booted with a game full message. it was pissing me off a little but im sure they will fix it as its only week one and im sure no beta tests could of simulated this much traffic. the servers are jam though and thats always a good sign.

Why don't you go start a room yourselves. I mean sonys online network provides that ability right. And you people with no lag should run the room since online is so perfect. Ironic, usually in any game you barely can get anyone to play online. Now when there is a game with enough players you can't get into the game itself.

I played non stop the first 3 days it came out no problems so I would think its just congested now and will need some maintanence on monday.

It is sooo hard to get into a game on Warhawk becasue it takes too long to tell you that the game is full. Also, it will say 29 of 32 players in game, but when you try to join it it says full. So you go back to the same game and it still says 29 of 32...WTF?

Also, everyone in the EU whoes waiting for it on blu-ray will be playing later so thats another load of people to add to the crowd. I dont think Sony expected it to be this popular.

Honest to god there has been at least 5 times where I have tried to join a ranked game, and after it said it was full I would see the the exact same game but with a number of spaces availible-somtimes I swear it's a glitch that just plain doesn't let you join. Don't get me wrong-I'm in love with this game-but it's full of glitches. First three hours I played ranked games none of it even counted and It constantly says it's nominating me for badges and medals I already have-I've only barely managed to get enough ranked games to be a wingman and it still nominates me for the second rank in the game sometimes wtf-I don't care if they down the server for 24 HOURS fix it all!

Same here, it takes about 5 minutes for me to find one. It seems Sony underestimated Warhawk's success. I never had this problem with RFOM. Just add a couple of hundred more servers Sony.

They should just allow some sort of incentive system for people who host Dedicated ranked servers. like building up funds in PSN wallet for each server you host. or giving free PSN games after a certain amount of hosting. hell even free PS1 games would be worth it.

I created a Dedicated ranked server with my max capacity and it filled up extreamly fast. I can host 20 player matches with my connection.

MY HONEST OPINION.

I have played online games ever since the original Counter Strike came out with my favs being Blackhawk Down, Unreal 2004, and Halo 2. So I had to check this game out at my cuzins who owns a ps3. And here is what I thought. Right when I first played I was unimpressed with the graphics of my character. Very cartoony. The whole map design was pretty simple. I threw a few gernades, played with the tank and the explosions looked weak. The shootouts were pretty sloppy also. It was alot of spray and pray. But I did have alot of fun when I finally entered the Warhawk. But it was almost impossible to kill a ground soldier after spraying him with my machine gun forever. One of the first things I do with any online shooter is go for the sniper because I LOVE sniping. Well the sniping was just a simple zoom. VERY dissapointed. I Love Call of Duty sniping. When zoomed in, your gun moves ever so slightly and you have to hold your breath to make it steady. Just makes that kill alot more satisfying. I also didn't like the medal system in Warhawk. 3 vehicles is not enough for a next gen game. But I was impressed how smoothly everything was with no lag. Dedicated servers are alot better for online gaming, that's for sure.

OVERALL: Not the greatest online experience I ever tried but it was decent fun. Definitely not the greatest online experience you guys talk about. It almost reminded me of Conkers online. A third person cartoony online shooter. I' pretty sure any rabid Call of Duty, Halo, Unreal, Graw, Rainbow 6 fanatics would think the same for Warhawk. It's just decent fun.

WARHAWK is selling like hotcakes. I think Warhawk will beat HALO3 online, im not saying HALO3 sucks (no offense), but warhawk is just amazing.

Its the random disconnects that are pissing me off :( I like this game but it shouldnt be this much work to get into a game. Then to get disconnected once the action starts getting good... WTF???

last night i had some issues

I'm at work most of the time so I'll start hosting a dedicated server while I'm at work. I'll have it set up as a Team Death Match and the server name will be harv711. I have a cable connection so hopefully there won't be any lag on. Hopefully it will help atleast 32 players get to a ranked match :P

I think [grimygunz] have a great idea to reduce the cost of hosting servers. The only problem is that it will be P2P just like XBox live... which is your major complain... and putting 64 people on a residential connection will cause lots of lags which is why xbox live games are limited to 32 max... don't forget that you can have 10mbs downstream but upstream is slower... this is also why for PC many people pay for hosting their games in dedicated servers.

The only solution is for Sony to add more server... Well good thing I don't have a PS3 yet... because not being able to connect online to play a game is not the best 1st impression someone as critical towards Sony as me should have.

I think Sony should be able to fix this problem in a few weeks... well.. that depends how fast they are able to integrate new servers.

That's a nice problem for the PSN to have. I'm sure it'll be taken care of soon enough.

I never really have this issue......I don't think most people realize that you cant join a room when its just two people from being full...chances are by the time you try to join, somebody already beat you to it. Plus i think their status on the servers is a little off. I'm sure they can fix it with a patch... Really with an online game to come out with such minor flaws, im not complaining one bit about it. This game was worth every penny imo. :]

You do get a Game Full thing once and a while on the ranked servers but There are like 100's of unranked ones that you can easily join! I just joined one in like 15 seconds!

I think they added new severs, a bunch of SEA are empty. I logged on right away!

Why the hell did my score go down while playing? I didn't die or commit suicide. First time that happens, I finished second with # of kills but ended up at the lower end of the list for some reason. Oh well, gotta learn to use those Warhawks.

I haven't had a problem yet. You can sort the servers based on # of people and find an open game real fast. Granted it won't be a Sony server. They do fill up fast. Sort by name and have all the Sony servers grouped together to see what's open. They had quite a lot of servers running.

Also, you can filter where you see all the worldwide servers. Maybe others are open.

Yeah the problem is it's too popular for its own good. There's at least a couple hundred Sony servers I think and hundreds more player hosted ones and they're all full. It is hard to get in a ranked game but it's not too much trouble. Kinda just proves how awesome the game is that so many people are trying to play it.

I noticed that it is better to play at night than in the morning to evening, at night there are less people in the ranked games...Too many unranked games am I right?!!!

Ya it really is f*ckin annoying when it takes you 15 minutes just to get into a working game. You see a server with 20 maximum players and only 10 are in, but by the time you try to join it, its somehow already full. They need to make quick join button or something.

sooo im playing warhawk...im about a solid hour into the game...n then the screen starts getting fuzzy...and then starts blinking and then i get blue-screened (samsung tv)...i turn off my ps3 and turn it back on....blue-screen......

i am using monsters' hi-end hdmi full hd 1080p compatible cable...could these have blown???....

my tv works completely fine when using other electronics like my satillete hooked up via hdmi...

my ps3 turns on...but i cant see anything...i tried hooking up the original yellow white n reds and it says im gettin a weak signal...i tried the turn it on n off n on n off thing didnt turn on....

so is it my monster cable or my ps3???

than Sony was anticipating. 30~40 dedicated servers is pretty good, but they obviously need to put up a lot more. Thankfully, anyone can host their own server so long as their internet connection is fast enough. In fact, I'll see if I can set up my own Server (name still pending) since I have a Fiber Optic Connection and work from 8~5 every day. Used to Fold@Home, but it looks like people need it for something else.

While Picking and Choosing which servers to play on is great, I would actually like for Sony/Incognito to implement an auto-join system along the lines of Halo 2. It takes me around 1 or 2 minutes to join a game, which is still annoying since it's manual work. Thankfully, I get absolutely no performance issues during gameplay and have never gotten dropped from a server.

I have only gotten in once under 5 min. The rest of the time it takes me about 15 min and earlier it took me 30 min to get in a game and it wasn't even ranked! I agree it is a lot of fun and addicting but waiting more than 5 min to me is uncalled for. What if I told Sony I wanted to download the game but was going to wait a while before I paid for it? They would laugh at me and say no thank you. Sony I paid the money now so I could play now. But still I love the game.

Sony and Incognito will do whatever's necessary to deal with this.

It's obvious they underestimated warhawk and they weren't fully prepared to the apparent magnitud of people connecting at once.

Like I said earlier.. people who are having trouble connecting to SCEA servers, try the unranked ones (the ones NOT highlighted in blue) they usually connect with no problems..

To the people who are constantly getting disconnected, try the wired connection.. It happened to me a few times wireless, I changed to ethernet and problem solved. (just until they fix it).

Another thing I noticed trying to get to a SCEA server was that if I go to my buddies list and one of them's playing I check if he's in a SCEA server.. IF he is?? I join the game he's playing and it connects.. maybe it'll work for you guys too.

Yes, The availability of ranked games can be annoying but otherwise things are very smooth. When I host a game, it's completely filled in minutes. The action is taut and tense.

I have yet to have a problem getting into a game I wanted to get into, and I played non-stop for the first two days. Maybe it's because i was specifically looking for games with only 1 or 2 people in them so that I knew I was getting in towards the beginning of the match, but I've never waited more than a minute to play. well its a bit the same as WoW. they also had problems at the start couse of too many people loggin in. it was horrible. i have had some problems loggin in too yesterday. but well they will deffenitly fix it soon enough.

Once this game gets its full worldwide retail release it will get even worse. So they need to address this now.

my clan is doing alright with 4 ranked dedicated non Sony servers :) Since they included this option, why not use it? Eventually in some years when Sony takes down its servers, only the player ones will remain anyways.

Im still shocked ms gets like 70-100 million bucks a month and still refuse to offer dedicated servers.

My ps3 has frozen like 5 times already while playing Warhawk. Before Warhawk my ps3 has never frozen. Some people have same problem, Sony better do something and quick please.

warhawk is awesome! i use filters, so i have all nice servers and can get in very fast. 15 min is it never.

Could be a bad thing :( But crowded multiplayer servers are A LOT better than empty ones, after all, Warhawk is at it's best when then server is at cap with 32 players blowing the crap outta each other.

It takes a long time to join each game, and it says "game is full" quite alot. but i even hosted a game and my brothers tried joining it, and even though i was on the phone to him telling him there was definaltley plenty of room, he still got the "game is full" screen.

so it must be a mixture of the main ranked games being full, but also a glitch that just says the game is full if the connection is too weak or somthing.

hopefully this'll get sorted soon because there ARE alot of players online, each time i've logged in.

I'm also same problem getting into a room but the wait is usually couple minutes not 30 minutes. I keep getting game is full, and your rank is to high. After almost an year of resistance Sony threw a piece of meat into circle of hunger ps3 owners and they're all attacking each other to play. I'm pretty sure SCEA will address this issue on tuesday.

under filters try setting to your rank only, that seemed to help, the main issues ive had are with the dedicated servers, who knows tho could just be a case of loads of people trying to join at the same time, i hate the p2p ones as if the host leaves is game over, should be able to pass the host on to another player!
im sure sony will have already noted these problems and hopefully we'll see some sort of update soon! happy gaming!

You can ALWAYS get into a NON-ranked match. it is the RANKED matches that have the problem with being full all the time. there are over 500 games going on everytime i log on, you can always find one to join. the game JUST came out, i think we could wait a week for them to fix the problem with the RANKED servers. its not like you cant play the game, just hard to find a RANKED game to get into.
its a GREAT game, just play UNRANKED for now and enjoy.

Its not server related because they had a beta to iron out the kinks, If these problems were found in the beta im sure they would of delayed the game unless sony is that desperate too have games on the market too go up against the games on the xbox 360. Its starting to be quite obvious that there should of been more development time in all these games. A problem is a problem and if it hinders your gameplay experience then its too bad when you have nothing else too play. I keep saying this: Sony was much bolder in the PS3 era vs. pS4 era. I appreciated their attempts at large scale multiplayer like Warhawk, Socom Confrontation, and yes, MAG. I loved all of these games and spent many hours playing. This is the Sony I want to start seeing again.

Warhawk was amazing, i really hope it will come again!

Man was this game underrated. Huge maps incredible draw distance 16 vs 16 with so much going on tight gameplay and if you had a team of players actual strategies come into play. Man I miss this game.

I love this game, I had so much fun. I wish there was a sequel or remaster coming.

Warhawk was amazing. If only we could have another Warhawk or at least a remaster.
