Houtman to head Vanguard

Vanguard Entertainment Group has appointed Arthur Houtman as its group CEO. Houtman joins CCO Martin de Ronde and COO Guy Melis, completing the group’s team of executive directors. Both de Ronde and Melis will both report to Houtman directly and Houtman will assume the role immediately

They aren’t saying VR is now mainstream therefore now is the time to try it. Quite the opposite.

Something doesn't have to be mainstream to be good.

Tv's were not mainstream when they came out. It took a while for them to be affordable.

Vanguard Games to Discuss Pitfalls and Opportunities of VR at Develop: Brighton

The sixth annual Develop: Brighton conference will be held in July 2016 and since February organisers Tandem Events have has submissions open for speakers to attend. Several have now been listed on the official website for the show, but currently only one involves virtual reality (VR). Confirmed currently is Martin de Ronde, Creative Director at Vanguard Games.
