You haven't sat down and played it for a few minutes, you have more likely played it for hours at a time. Neglected your pets, missed work and forgotten to shower, but that's okay because you aren't the only one. Since its launch, 1.6 million users have registered at minecraft.net and 500,000 people have already purchased this one man-powered indie title. And it's still in development. So why is a game about digging holes so popular?
