Octopus: Move will outsell Kinect at Xmas

Who would you trust - an analyst or an octopus? Because Ollie the psychic octopus reckons Move will outsell Kinect this Christmas.

That's Ollie, not Paul. Paul was the octopus that correctly predicted the outcome of Germany's (and other teams') World Cup matches this summer. He died.

2011 is going to be interesting but with MS going after the casual and Sony bringing a huge line up of games from the start of the year right to the end, one has to wonder what surprise does MS have???

Rayz3d6yW0lves5679d ago

Star Wars, Haunt, Rise of Nightmare, Project D, Codename Draco, Steel Battalion, Gun Loco, Remedy's Exclusive, PGR 5, Codename Kingdoms, Forza, Gears of War 3

BrianG5679d ago

I believe he wast talking about motion games, and you started to name non motion games towards the end.

Unless your implying those games are the "surprise" and will support kinect?

Moonboots5678d ago (Edited 5678d ago )

Not sure either way but that list is a good one and it's funny how he get's nothing but disagrees for answering it. Is there really that much "butt hurt" here on this site?? I hate using that term but damn there is a serious need for Peperation-H on this site.

How do you know those games won't incorporate Kinect in them?

Surprises are things we don't know about so I'm going to assume that was a rhetorical question.

I'm sure, just like every year the 360 will be just fine with the game releases.

DaBadGuy5678d ago

Star Wars and Steel Battalion are Kinect games though right?

At least I know Star Wars is.

I don't how Steel Battalion would work without that massive controller and using nothing but your body, but we'll see.

Perhaps it will be one of those "hybrids" who use Kinect and a Controller.

ShinMaster5678d ago (Edited 5678d ago )

But all I saw was Gears 3, Forza, PGR5...
and a whole bunch of unknown, TBA and Kinect games.

ash_divine5678d ago

The reason he's getting disagrees is because that list is terrible. There is NO FOOTAGE of half of those games.(they could ending up sucking.) A lot of those aren't even properly announced. GeoW3 is the only one that's been properly revealed.

ps: any list with "insert developer name" exclusive is a total fail.

A group of surgeons made headlines after they managed to perform an endoscopic procedure on a pig located in Hong Kong by using PlayStation controllers. It involved the use of a PS5 DualSense controller as well as a PlayStation Move controller.

jznrpg591d ago

There is at least a few good jokes that could come from that title

Cacabunga591d ago

Yet another powerful device Sony gave up supporting. KZ3 move was one of the best motion controller implementation ever

just_looken590d ago

Right the ps move was awesome i have the gun thing from killzone still.

Relientk77591d ago

That's really cool. It's crazy something like that is possible with gaming controllers 1000's of miles away.

Lexreborn2591d ago

Guess that submarine should’ve used move controllers instead of logitech
