Darksiders 2 is still a ways off, but that hasn't stopped THQ from dropping a few details for fans.
Speaking at the IGDA conference in San Francisco last week, THQ VP of Core Games Danny Bilson teased some information about the sequel.
Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, despite being another re-release, shows that Darksiders II is an incredible game that deserves more attention.
Because the PS4 has slow loading times I do prefer PS5 versions of games. The PS5 does load PS4 games faster but with a native PS5 version it loads much faster and it looks a bit better and better draw distance and such. So for me , I do want these 3rd releases for certain games and this is one of them. It’s one of my favorite PS3 games. Nobody is forced to buy it. It is not hurting anyone and it gives devs more money to make future games. These re-releases aren’t selling millions but it’s nice for people like me or people who never played the game.

The first one was HORRIBLE. Boring, Ugly game.

The sequel will have you playing a new character, and none of the horseman? Really? Who the hell are we going to play as, some random badass turned human? I am not so certain about this...
The fact that they introduced ALL of the horsemen (SPOILER) at the end of the first game is just a freaking tease. Especially since YOU WON'T BE PLAYING AS ANY OF THEM. That's really shitty if you ask me. The possibility of a 4 way co-op (hell, even 2 way) as a Raider is just too freaking awesome to let go. Imagine Death and War going toe to toe with a legion of Demons/Angels.
Very much looking forward to it .
As expected many just brushed it as a god of war clone , when if we were to point fingers the game had far more in common with zelda and metroid/castlevania experience ... or heck Soul reaver with even a big nod to portal at some point .
The only pity is i was expecting the four horsemen (switching along the story between them) and maybe even 4 players co-cop given the way the game ended .
Still i have confidence i wont be dissapointed by the sequel
