Sony has finally clarified details about its upcoming PlayStation 3 version of LocoRoco, revealing that it's actually an interactive screensaver that can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store and is played using the tilt functions of the SIXAXIS controller. As for online, there are ranking boards that provide a total score ranking (showing the number of LocoRoco collected and the mini-game score) and a time attack ranking, which focuses purely on the time it takes to reach the goal.

One of the best things about creating downloadable games is the creative freedom developers have to let their imaginations run wild. Publishers will agree to fund strange ideas at low risk, and in some cases, the designer is the publisher. This has led to some bizarre and outstanding titles across all platforms, but today, we’ll focus on PSN. Sony’s online service has plenty of whacky games that are lots of fun, including these gems.

Well the good news is there are a cracking amount of titles available for download in the console's online market place PSN or PlayStation Network for those not into shortening everything. Here are five we think you should consider:"
agree with super stardust n wipeout. excluding disc games, i would at least consider pixel junk monsters, flower, savage moon, cuboid, or bowling.
my fav though goes to the forgotten game calling all cars....it was ign's game of the month for ps3 when it was released.

Sony Computer Entertainment Asia is bringing in the year of the Rat with a sale on a bunch of downloadable PlayStation Network games. From now until February 14, the games listed at Siliconera will only cost HK$39 (US$5). (You can get those deals if you bother to set up a Hong Kong PSN account and add money to it.)
i pretty much have all the psn games i want, but i'll double check to see if i want any of the others, for $5 it's a steal
EDIT: nvm... just realized i have all those games listed :(
having interactive wallpapers is a novel idea, think this would be pretty cool. look forward to seeing what else sony comes up with!
and before it gets said, sony didnt copy the idea of interactive wallpaper from M$
I would have no problem paying for a complete PS3 LocoRoco release, but if it's going to be an "interactive screensaver" it better damn well be free...
Sony is spoiling us big time with all these awesome addons to the system.
Cool idea.
If they price it sensibly I can see this becoming a popular title.
