-I actually I don't mind, its both comical and educational to watch how delusional some people can actually be. I was actually at Fashion Valley Mall in san diego around 12, watching a huge crowd of folks outside of the microsoft store with a kinect setup, they were playing dance central, adults, kids everybody were having lots of fun, it seriously attracted a nice audience, most of the comments were very positive and I watched many people go in and buy it. I enjoy comparing what I hear on this site to what I hear in everyday life, in stores, from friends, watching TV, at work, reading other sources. Its all very interesting browsing through the comments on n4g, its truly apparent that you kids live in your own little world. lol

How does disagreeing with this review of a game about rubbing animals have anything to do with kinect hate. I could never call myself a man and say "hey skittles" and rub a fake tiger...its kinda kiddy but it seems to be right up your alley.

People disagree, get over it. Just because you would buy anything with MS on it doesn't mean I do.

I don't know about you man Jokes. You shouldn't be writing the block of insignificant garbage. Spending the whole hours just entertaining yourself in n4g.com simply just tell us how uninteresting your life is. But it is your life, it is what you choose that n4g.com is where you wish to live in to think it was even a fun factor? I could only pity u nothing more.

Btw, I admit I pretty much dislike Kinect for the fact that it is a failure. I'm just trying to warn consumers not to buy in all the hypes and to the lies of media's marketing such as unjustify reviews and articles of kinect selling out everywhere.. Which actually made us look like the fools here into believing.

Let us not take this personally, but to the topic of this review. Such review of the game is also part of my point. Out of NOWHERE we get all these bloggers and non gaming site giving out unprofessional reviews? Read the article and pinpoint me just which part of the article stated for 5star game? If you can do that with this article I'll give it to u... If you can't then u might as well admit that we don't go around garbbishing telling blind fools such as yourself the truth that need to be told.

I have to agree with JOY on his first comment, and while his comment may come out of left field for some, it is undeniable that there is a strong biased against Kinect here.

A 5/5 for a game like this isn't meant to be equivalent to a 10/10 for something like SMG2

Games get reviewed on different scales.

It's funny that people will use everything but the actual review content or their personal experiences to knock down the game. Why? Because likely you haven't played it and have to resort to comparing it to something like SMG2, using metacritic, or any other thing you can grab to go out of your way in order to knock down a score.

Claiming that MS paid them off when you don't have proof other than knowing MS has a huge marketing budget doesn't prove any specific site actually gets paid off. And it's a poor way to show off your intentional stubbornness.

You may not think it's a 5/5 game (and I don't even know this random site) but even an 8.5 or a 7.5 gets people upset and crying "bias". Kinectimals seems to be getting really good scores overall. And people don't like that. Simple as that.

I appreciate the attemp to normalize the 5/5.
However, as you any many on this site understand, without measurables.... reviews are absolutly meaningless.

Please understand from an objective perspective:

If KAnimals can not be compared to SMG2, then what?
-only Wii games targeted to children?
-should core 360/PS3 titles be excluded?
-Should the writer qualified "the curve" as part of the review?

How can I understand reviews objectively if they are all subjectively given?

The SMG2 comparison came out of people trying to put down Kinectimal's score, yet that person doesn't understand that reviews are differentiated by many factors.

I understand that there is a scale of relevancy, but nobody reading this here should think that a 5/5 on Kinectimals is equal to a 10/10 on Uncharted 2. The scale is different, and this is the objective understanding people have.

Kinect, like a lot of casual games, are targeted to a specific audience, and TO that audience, under that audience's conditions, a 5/5 is warranted. It is not the same 5/5 for us, this we understand.

Take Plants vs. Zombies. Great game, many give it a perfect score, but this is not in the same sense as SMG2.

These sort of debates pop up only when it's the MS related product getting high scores around here. Suddenly reviews don't matter, or they are paid off, etc. JOY covered the double standard excuses perfectly. You can almost make a chart out of what he says and refer to it anytime around here.

Ultimately, the score doesn't matter, you are right. People say reviews are worthless ONLY when they don't have value to them. But when they reinforce their expectations they are the best proof to use against other people.

It's the content of the review. But this debate is ONLY happening because people have a problem with a Kinect game getting a high score. Don't expect this skepticism for a PS3 review.

If people don't like something, they will fight against that something doing well. If they like something, they will argue when it does bad.

People flock to an IGN review and if IGN agrees with the people, then they are cool.

If IGN gives a low score to a game they were excited for, they are suddenly IGNorant. People toss and dismiss reviews when it suits them.

The type of thought you're stating is COMPLETELY one-sided. Let me give you the OTHER side.

Reviews score a xbox360 game low= Reviews don't matter
-the same people who flouted the "AAA or FLOP" standard when halo 3 was released

Reviews score a ps3 game high= "x game is over-rated" "It wont sell as much as the halo/mass effect franchise"
-the same people who were so admant to claim that ps3 has no AAA titles or games for that matter.

playstation move "moves" 2.5 million copies in the first month= Sony lies. Its only shipped copies. It flopped day one.
-the same people who said if it didn't sell 1 million in the first month it was a flop.

Kinect will widen the gap and be the final nail in the coffin for sony's ps3.= Ridiculous claims since its fail of an unveiling since e3-09
-The same people who want to shout "wii carbon copy" against playstation move, not taking into any account of the ps2 eyetoy that was created 10 years earlier than kinect technology.

Kinect getting great scores from news publications, but so-so reviews from GAMING publications
- Its fine because no one reads game reviews. Kinect will still sell tons and earn MS lots even though I wont get a dime

Ms 2011 lineup looking 90% percent casual and only 10% noncasual with only one exclusive for the hardcore (gears of war 3), not to mention them jacking up xboxlive service up another 10 dollars
-MS is going to dominate this holiday season and they know what the gamers want. Sony and nintendo don't stand a chance.

It goes completely both ways, but you only choose to show one side of the totem pole because you originate from the other as a bonified 360 fanboy.

Its horrific to see how far some fools will jump to kinect's defense and scream "haters" or "fanboys" when more than half of the people shouting negativity against kinect are 360 only users who are PISSED that MS has swayed from the hardcore and given them scraps for next year.

Its sickening, and for you to sum up a skewed and one sided statement of what goes on in n4g shows how idiotic you truly are.

Of course what JOY said was one sided, but you miss his point entirely.

He isn't showing that the 360 side that you show doesn't exist, he is demonstrating how the double standard on the PS3 is more prominent here.

Any 360 fan making those claims you wrote is quickly brought down and the mentality is weakly supported, but the mentalities that JOY shows is constantly upheld around here. They are both equally biased, but one side has more weight around here than the other.

I disagree. The double standard of fanboys in general on n4g varies from day to day. It all depends on what is being reviewed, showcased, or discussed. There is no "prominant" side. They're both all in the same in my eyes. Thats the way its always been.

To say that there is an over-abundance of one side of fanboys over the other is purely subjective and I think ive been here long enough to hold weight in my statement that there is none. The MAJORITY of people who have been using that statement in defense have been fanboys themselves. Jokesonyou being a living testament and prime example. Though im not saying that you're one.
