LOL VGcharts gets there numbers from decent reputable sources only people hate them because they disagree with there numbers for whatever reason.. Well grow up. If they make a mistake they admit it and make changes. Just a side note here football games sell way better on PS3 yet games with guns are selling way better on 360 according to the link.. HAHA! It's not even released yet there, how can it sell out when it isn't available? Who approves this "news" anyways? Look, I know what it is like to be a fanboy. Really I do. I was 8 years old when I got my first console, an NES, and after that I got a SNES cause I'd be darned to get the crappy Sega console. Then I started making real money and could buy anything. And despite the fact I own a PS3, 360, and a Wii for some reason that fanboy side still gravitates toward Nintendo loyalism at times. Example, I preordered Super Mario All Stars despite the fact that it's a $30 emulated ROM that should be an $8 virtual console game. Who would do such a stupid thing? Well I did because it's stuck in my head to do such things forever I'm afraid

But just like there are people to tell me I can play the rom freely on a PC or PSP or a phone even, I'm here to tell you that the kinect is not the success Microsoft is hoping. Sure it hasn't even been a week. But they're treating it like a console launch and the last few consoles launches I recall long arse lines, high demand, high secondary market prices, etc. Kinect has nothing like that. The console bundle isn't selling at all and the add-on is only out of stock online because 360 fans are too lazy to go to a real store and buy it.

Trust me, I know because judging by the stack at Best Buy and the table they have set up with overpriced HDMI cables and every kinect game to boot that nobody is buying it. Failure to launch. No MS coming around saying "we are pleased to announce we sold 1.5 million kinects in the first 24 hours of launch" or something like they normal like to do. The sales figures are likely in the couple hundred thousands and the only people that bought it are current 360 owners / core gamers. And you know, YOU ARE THE CONTROLLER but you ARE NOT THE TARGET MARKET. The Ellen/Oprah/Beiber/Cirque thing didn't work. They should've spent that money to actually make the tech a little better so we could play something other than eyetoy ripoffs from 2005 (Eyetoy Play 2 to be exact, the games works identical despite lower tech and just a camera with no infared)

Enjoy your $150, thousand infared beam emitting eyetoy clone with second class mini game crap that Nintendo would be ashamed to release. It's not made by Nintendo and it's not made by Apple. It's made by Microsoft who has never released a good product ever. The 360 is a good PLATFORM but it took 5 years to make up for the shoddy components they put in it to keep cost down and now it's pretty low tech. I want a new console, not an add on.

No add on in the history of games has ever been successful period

The only successful peripheral was packed with the top selling non-bundled video game of all time, wii fit. And even that was only bought by 1/3 of wii owners over a period of three years. Microsoft needs to deliver a new console that can play a 3-year-old computer game like Crysis, not put it on life support with this eyetoy thing.

I love the ignorance on this site. 'Duh, this not for PS3 peoples because they not care about sails'. To think people used to be so much smarter. Even when we had trolls or haters they still said clever things whether it was biased or negative. Now we have idiots just repeating the same stupid thing over and over again whether it sounds sensible or not and approving this junk.
