Sniper Ghost Warrior Improved for PS3 Release

It sounds like City Interactive is really going to try and put their best foot forward with the release on PS3 by adding new multiplayer, modes, and weapons, as well as improving the overall game play and experience with the game.

Was a good game - too bad I don't have a PS3

I just want to take a moment to thank all of the Xbox 360 Sniper Ghost Warrior BETA Testers.

I actually liked this game when I played it. It didn't do so well in reviews (although, the one the writer linked in the article was GREAT) but I found the game to be enjoyable. The additions will only make it better.

Completely agree. The video review in the article nailed it. The game certainly wasn't bad. It had some issues, but nothing to really ruin the game play.

I thought the game was a solid addition to the FPS console genre. And since this was City Interactives first go at a console game, they did a good job. Now that they have Crytek, it will be interesting to see what's next

''Now that they have Crytek'' what?

Pandamobile5652d ago

He meant CryEngine. City Interactive recently licensed CryEngine 3.

I really enjoyed this on PC, I didn't even realise it was coming on PS3, so i might have to pick this up at some point :)

move support anyone? I'm taking names in mag with move especially with a sniper, this supporting move would be great.

i would be all over this if it were Move compatible

Great! It was always disappointing that Lords of the Fallen never got a proper sequel back in the day, so I'm glad the Reboot stirred up enough interest to warrant a sequel this time around.

Advent Rising is another good example. It got panned by critics but it has a good story and I enjoyed playing it. The graphics are dated, the enemies all look the same, but it was made in 2005 so what do you expect? I wish they made the sequel so I could finish the story but I think the critics killed it off.

I don't trust critics.
I'd value more the feedback from a random user.

I seldom trust gamers or critics anymore. A lot of times high scores just mean how likely you are to enjoy something from the game, but rarely anything about how much you would enjoy said things, or whether the highly preferred type of qualities in a game you’re looking for are even in it. My initial gut feeling of the premise of a game is usually all I need.
