To say that it has not undergone change would be untrue, what was once a story-heavy mech RPG is now a third person action game. What's more is that Evolved was outsourced to US developers Double Helix Games in what would appear to be an attempt to win over western audiences.
This is a throwback in every sense. Graphically dated, shallow gameplay, poor storyline, linear levels and lacking in depth in every important area. This is not what modern games are, this is not any kind of evolution."
