A one serious farming simulator. Does the game include illegal immigrants or redneck friends? Probably not. Probably.
Henry Osadzinski of Brash Games writes "Farming Simulator 2011 certainly won’t win any awards for its original setting, blistering action or heart-wrenching plot but that’s not the point. We’re here to farm and farm well".
Not that I care about the game in the slightest, but that is one of the better reviews I've read in ages, keep up the good work.

Publisher, Excalibur, is set to release a 'platinum edition' of its 2011 Farming Sim in October. Now, Farming Simulator 2011 is not Farmville. It's not even Harvest Moon. This is a hardcore sim game that tries to accurately recreate life on the farm.
Well, I love farming in Minecraft...why not?! (Although I think it's because in Minecraft, there's an important purpose to it....your own survival. Probably not as fun.)
Do you get lots of pointless subsidies from the government in order to prolong your pitiful rural existence?
Nah, but you do get constantly reminded by city dwellers how much better they think it is to live in an overcrowded, polluted sh*t hole.
Publisher's range of simulation titles continue to perform strongly in PC sales charts.
When you think of a Top Ten PC game, the likes of StarCraft II, World of Warcraft, The Sims and Football Manager probably spring to mind. You certainly don’t think of Farming Simulator 2011.
But this quirky little niche game not only raced into sixth place in the PC Top Ten, it did it during what was a very busy November for new releases.
Even its publisher Excalibur was surprised by its success.
Market this to all FFA (Future Farmer's Of America) members...still, they expect to turn a profit on a title like this?
With the population going up and the food supply getting smaller. It is good to see that there is a simulation for farmers. Some of you might think this is a joke. But there is a lot to farming than just putting seeds in the ground and waiting for rain. If this simulation (through ideas and exchanges) gives them 1% return or increase product, it will be well worth it.
