Electronic Arts announced today that Need for Speed ProStreet, the latest version of the blockbuster franchise, will hit stores in North America on October 31 and across Europe on November 1, 2007. In Need for Speed ProStreet, you have to build the ultimate battle machine, take it to multi-disciplinary showdowns and pit your skills and reputation against the world's best street racers.

Dealspwn: "f you haven't picked up one of the latest Need For Speed titles then you're in luck. Gamersgate are holding a weekend sale for four instalments in the racing series, and it's a great chance to save a few pounds whilst putting the pedal to the metal."

Hardcore Gamer: For the price of a pizza, you can get ProStreet, Shift 1, Shift 2, and Undercover.

Savings on The Walking Dead DLC, Limbo and Ghostbusters titles too. [OXM]
im fine with that. November is not far away.
Are there any gameplays of that game available? (PS3, if not show me xbox 360)
I'm sure this will be a good game, but I won't buy it. I'll wait for a price drop because I'm not in the mood of dropping $60 on a EA title.
yes this game isn't worth 60 bucks for me
I'm under the impression that this release date was given long ago. I have had a list of all the games I was going to buy/look at made for about a month, and they all have their release dates next to then, with TBA's strewn about where warranted. And I have had Oct 31 next to Prostreet this whole time. Was it not official? Was it speculated to be that date?
I am sure it will be a solid game but it will be way down my list this holiday season. Certainly a rental and if it blows me away perhaps a buy.
