How can you be "wrong" for enjoying something about a game?

I don't like spending time on customization either, but that's the stupidest thing I've read all day.

I don't like making my own character (or levels) because they never turn out how I want them to turn out. My characters end up looking weird and I would rather play as a character that someone else put the time into making look good.

Some games need a preset main character, because they're story-based and you're playing out this character's tale.

But other games, on the other hand, give you more freedom to play out the story how you like, in which case it makes a lot more sense to allow you to customize the main character how you like, since he's your avatar in the world where you do what you want.

Depends on what the devs want: do they want you to play the character's story, or yours?

I think, as long as the game allows him to be as uncreative as he wants, then that should diminish his creataphobia.

Considering the absolutely pathetic, uninspired, derivative Top 10 lists Now Gamer writes on a daily basis, I would totally have to agree. Creativity clearly isn't your forte.

Ask Nadeo. They seemed to of done pretty well with Trackmania, arguably the first big user generated game out there. Still growing.

Sounds like the same kind of gamer, that will be stumped if the game requires him to do more than button mash or not go into a situation guns blazing, and actually have to think.

I fall into the 30 minutes+ category of tweaking and altering a created character i made, till i'll even start the game, if the customization options are that deep.
