Maybe it is time to just let Goldeneye go. People keep e-begging for this game and it came back in various iterations; remastered and original and in the end it was just meh. The game was a product of its time like Perfect Dark and Timesplitters.

Never understood what 64 meant. Can anyone enlighten me? All I know is my neighborhood friends and I used to play the crap out of it. Favorite games were Cool Boarders, Mario kart 64, WCW vs NWO just to name a few. Man life was simple and good.
Certain remakes should be left alone, meaning leave GoldenEye alone. I still got fun memories about playing it on the N64 and I don't want the title to be modernized with perks and shit like that.
If they should do anything at all is to just brush GoldenEye up to HD and release it on PSN and Xbox Live w/e the Wii uses as a store..
a guy who worked on the n64 version should understand, that you can't make this game better. I agree with that, update the graphics, maybe think about the physics (or leave it as it is) and you have a game many gamers would buy again.

Unfortuntatly the Activision mindset is "Call of Duty = Sales" the rest will be roped into a false sense of nostalgia.
This game is Goldeneye: Modern Warfare. The gameplay that made the orginal so fun and addicting removed. That's not what people wanted.
People wanted the origanal Goldeneye, not just another cookie cutter shooter with the name "Goldeneye" attached.
